Why is Canada 🇨🇦 so expensive? A regular house 🏡 in the USA 🇺🇸 is $200,000. In Canada they want $1 million for the same type of home. 😅

I'm not sure what you think a "regular" house is, but the average US house price is $426k. It hasn't been $200k in over 20 years. These homes are primarily in Toronto and it's suburbs which probably has the highest cost of living in Canada (think San Francisco for a US comparison). Also, a lot of them are very clearly luxury homes. Also, the prices are in Canadian dollars...
