Joan Willett was inspired by Captain Sir Tom’s incredible fundraising and set out on a charity walk which has now raised over £40,000. She completed her goal of walking 17 miles up and down the hill outside of her care home on her 104th birthday last week. She joins Christine today to talk about why she decided to fundraise for the British Heart Foundation and how the care home workers have been supporting her along the way. She also gets a surprise message from Sir Captain Tom himself!
