With that in mind, considering these pigs are pests to the farmers, I can see making a sideline out of shooting them. transporting and selling them. Lots of fun -- and profitable. Too bad I'm a tired old New Jersey guy. If I were younger and lived in Texas I wouldn't hesitate buying a .308 Remington, a night scope, a good used truck, and becoming the Tom Horn of the pig-killers. I was abit sympathetic to the hogs until I saw some vids on all the damage they do and how much they reproduce. In a very real sense this is self-defense.

I'm aware of how smart and sweet animals can be, I had a teacher for a few years that was a zoologist and wildlife conservationist for most of her life, going on many long trips to Africa for both these purposes, spending time with the locals and wildlife, and ended up being a zookeeper when she came back. She's in her 60's now. But even she stated that hunting is natural, perfectly fine and often necessary to keep populations in check. It's when you over hunt a population or poach is when it becomes an issue. Hunting is perfectly natural, our ancient ancestors did it to survive. This video is just killing to control a pest population of feral hogs that threatens people's livelihoods and subsequently ability to put food on the table, but I imagine after this they'd have plenty of food. Thanks for the civil response.
@NCRranger246 жыл бұрын
Eddie Antihunter yeah obviously endangered species and what some people would call exotic game (lions, grizzlies, etc.) Shouldn't be hunted. That's common sense. And I remember the last white rhino dying, was killed by poachers while I was still in school, and that teacher told us about it. Even the kid in our class who often hunted deer and such felt bad for it, even going as far to say that he wished he had caught the poacher so he could "teach them a lesson". Oh, and I've found out these hogs are an invasive species, supposedly a non native invasive species which means it disrupts the ecosystem and has no natural predators, leaving it to multiply unhindered. Which means that we are the only way of keeping these pests' population in check, otherwise they would multiply out of control and would spread like wild fire. Again, they have no natural predators here and are incredibly destructive.
@chadfromHR6 жыл бұрын
Eddie Antihunter Yes, some humans 600 years ago made a mistake and brought some shit over that fucks up massive amounts of land. You are vegetarian, yes? Those feral hogs eat 5000x more pasta than you consume. The land used to grow them delicious veggies get absolutely wrecked by these things. Yes, humans do the same exact shit because we are a sad species that can't see very far ahead. If you let these hogs alone to propagate, all of the wheat that you soooo love to eat will be gone. All the plants that make up your diet will be lost. Get educated man. EdX.org is a good place to start. Free open-source classes for you ineloquent asses

Hey, its a good start, get 100 texan farmers to kill 100 hogs each, what do you get? 10000 less swine to exterminate. Thats just 100 farmers, there are millions of people in texas, and I can assure you there are atleast roughly 500000 farmers that exist in the region. What if half of that number, 250000 people killed 100 hogs each? Thats 25,000,000 less swine to poison texas. You see, he killed 107. In ONE night, imagine if everyone or mostly everyone was on the same page? 107 in a single night, that doesnt account for every other night. Hell, with the amount of hogs I saw get away because lord knows he doesnt have a 300 round box on the side of his rifle, I bet cash he could go out every night and bag an average of 50 hogs at minimum bud! Yea, 107 isnt a dent, but he is one man, out of tens of thousands in texas alone, not even mentioning the tens upon tens of thousands in other states helping the effort to rid this country of these destructive, foul and disgusting swine that are posioning farmers livelihoods.

@SopaDeQuesoCaliente6 жыл бұрын
RDJetz Da Pilot I mean death isn't always painless, giving an instant death is hard, even for pros. It's not target practice and what you are shooting at is a moving target. Some humans can take multiple shots to kill as for others it could be just 1. Animals and humans are the same in that way.
@SopaDeQuesoCaliente6 жыл бұрын
3rdAyeSmokin To expect for death to be quick and painless, you must believe that fairies and unicorns exist.
@SopaDeQuesoCaliente6 жыл бұрын
3rdAyeSmokin there is a difference between hunting deer, elk, bear etc. to hunting wild hogs. Wild hogs attack ppl with no warning or threat there are millions of them and they cause billions of dollars to farm lands and they repopulate like crazy. What this guy killed didn't even dent their population. Also, although some of us hunt to put food on the table or just for sport. Some others need go hunting just to keep their home from getting ravaged by these hogs. Unless you like famine and losing money, then don't kill them. Educate yourself on other people's situations and try to understand them. If I had a farm and these things were cutting into my production, I would kill them too.
@SopaDeQuesoCaliente6 жыл бұрын
Also if you educated yourself you would know that those are not night vision goggles but thermal scopes and if you were a real hunter, then you would know that hunters must adapt to different situations. Be the hunter, not the hunted.
@SopaDeQuesoCaliente6 жыл бұрын
3rdAyeSmokin You don't have to like anything that anybody does... I'm not sure what you are trying to say after you mentioned "white people". Word it better or simpler? English isn't my 1st language.
