@@mrfact03s liberal logic. Violence is definitely worse than a cigar. In Ghostbusters almost everyone smoked on screen. Yet parents complained (even though the movie was not intended to be for kids) and so I'm Ghostbusters 2 no one smokes on screen but Dan Akroyd chews on an unlit cigar. The Batman is not for kids either but you knew parents would bring them. It's PG-13 and the failings of parents should be blamed on the studio that rates it for teens and up by your logic.

I think by comparing viewer reception alone you can see that the Batman is considerably more popular and well-liked.
