Luke would be proud of y’all and definitely Ben I know he’s struggled with it. You can tell anytime he’s brought up he chokes up. Ben and Luke was a huge inspiration to all of us. If Anyone out there struggling talk to someone get help suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem!!
@barrykitchen82003 жыл бұрын
you hit the nail on the head my man. Every time there is videos on this subject or referenced. I always drop a comment and reach out. No joke. People always say suicide is a selfish act. They always ask what about his or her kids or family? But a lot of people they don't take a step back and think to themselves that the person taking their life definitely thought of family and kids. He would just decide thatthey are better off without. Like he or she is a burden. this subject hits close to home because I was that person that tried.literally pulled the trigger. But I was so drunk, purposely I was slamming Rome to get the balls. But I failed to realize orremember that every time I put whether it's rifles or sidearms away I took out firing pins or bolts. Although in a lock box safe I had two little boys and a wife. To never be too careful. But yeah like everybody has their reason for trying or thinking or even doing it. Mine was something that built up for multiple years.Army and 18 stayed in for 12 years. The first two years was infantry and then went into Ranger school past got accepted to ranger battalion. And then the remaining 10 years in 2nd Ranger batt.during that time I had 5 deployments 3 to Iraq and to to I went through the ranks relatively fast. Every promotion I received on a waiver.before I knew it I was a sergeant in charge of three to five guys when I was 20 years old. And I made my e-7 Sergeant first class platoon Sergeant within 7 years.so needless to say I had soldiers and good dear friends died. And also lose limbs and be amputees. And I was their leader and I even planned the missions. So you well I had or still have survivor's guilt.through the time in and the deployments we come back and we go home for 30 days. And then we come back to the unit and start training like normal. Army Mandy is you have a year back after any soldier is the Floyd. But will they failed to tell you islike I said when you come back off deployment you have one month of leave. And before you go you have a month of leave. So now you're down to 10 months. You do three months of train up extensively away from your family. So you have seven months. But through that 7 months you still have your normal range time Land navigation and schools.goes by quick. Plus before they had that I volunteered to go back. My first deployment Fallujah and soon as we got back the sister unit needed another sergeant. So I was back for 3 monthsthen left again. But anyway point is I lost men and then killing or being part of killing. It takes a toll on you. It's not a normal thing somebody should get used to. Like I said I did 12 years and 6 and 1/2 was deployed. So just eat me alive. And I wasn't thinking straight because the 17 times I got blown up by a traumatic brain injury. So I thought to myself I was a burden. And I tried it.I'll never forget it. Wait until my wife while ex-wife now went upstairs. Kids were in bed. Don't ask me what I was thinking because the kids were. There. Obviously I wasn't thinking. Got so drunk finally had the balls pulled the trigger and nothing happened. And immediatelyI'm glad I didn't do it. I was relieved. Well initially I wasn't relieved. Initially I felt like a failure. I was like I can't even f****** do that. Anyway I passed out drunk five 6 in the morning wife comes downstairs and she sees the pistol on my chest near my chin. She wakes me up and I remember looking in her eyes and she's crying.the pain I caused her. And you know she asked me what I was doing and I looked at her and I was like you know what I tried to do.and the boys were waking up so I heard and put everything away and they came downstairs and I gave them a hug and a kiss I went upstairs took a shower came back down made everybody breakfast and halfway through the day and my wife was like are you okay like I wasn't even acknowledging the fact that I tried it. So yeah there's my story. So if anybody is reading this or my story. Just know it's not the answer. Like I said I pulled the trigger it didn't happen and I was thankful. I'm glad it didn't happen.it's your mind playing tricks on you you know the whole saying you're your own worst enemy being trapped in your head. If you're in a negative spot anyway in your headthat's what kind of thought you're going to have. So there's no reasoning if you start thinking about something like that you're more than likely going to keep stacking it. Just know it's not worth it.also suicide scenes that are investigated by police. Specifically people that jump from a building.8 out of 10 times they always find scratches and fingernails. They turn around and try to catch themselves. Meaning they change their mind as soon as they jump theyregretted it immediately. So if anybody reads this and you want to reach out go ahead and reach out. And if not to me just reach out to somebody. Just no no judgment. I've been there. Go ahead and drop a comment and we'll go from there

This podcast about the "grind" and what Fouad said, reminded me of McGregor, specifically an interview in 2013 where he said: "I'm not going to stop until my Mum has a Mansion, my Girlfriend has a car for every day of the week, and the children of my children are set for life. I'm here to collect all the money, all the belts and then I'm gone..." Hell of a journey, he had one fight in the UFC at that moment.
