it has a CVT... just like a regular car. That's why it is so maneuverable. It's also much smaller than most other countries tanks so that it can easily drive on Japanese roads that are narrower and it's designed mainly for guerrilla warfare (aka RPGs, soldiers on foot and IEDs)

私が見た感じ・・・　 まさに、次世代戦車の考えが凝縮された性能が素晴らしく・・・否めません！ 後続車が前車の軌道を正確にとらえてました。 恐らく、後続車は赤外線かなにかで自動操縦だったのでしょう。 車体をバックさせるのも、前進とほぼ同じスピードで運航出来るのでしょう。 恐らく４０キロくらいでデモンストレーションしたのでしょうが、最高速は、１２０キロでるような感じです。・・・装備によりけりだけど。 しかし、急速発進する際、黒煙を吐くのが気になりますね。 なにより、砲身が短いのは・・・弾丸が高性能なのでしょうね、カノン砲なのか？ミサイルなのか・・・解らないけど高性能なのでしょう。 装甲板は薄いでしょうね。形状にこだわりが見られます。 ただ・・・熱源を抑える技術が凝縮されているような感じです。 キャタピラーを覆うゴムが物語ってます。 日本の国土に適した性能なのでしょう・・・ こんな技術があるのになぜ、日本は不景気なのでしょうね・・・

Alfanoadun Kid all modern tanks more or less look the same, or shaped the same way.. And this model I believe is what they use to train tank companies so these are not fully armed..

側面モジュール装甲（おそらく中空）の分だけ幅は広くなってますが 砲塔正面装甲の幅は90式より更に小さくなってますよ 多分これ以上小さくしようとしたら無人砲塔しかないと思われます

@Haffax267 Type 90 MBT has licensed rheinmetall 120mm/L44 and DM33 but this tank doesn't. originally developed and more powerful one (RHA: 800-1000mm?)

@AVPYautja Well... as the TRDI's dicision,the active protection wasn't so reliable defense system and it seemed enough to develop a new armour instead. Maybe there'll be a modified version of type 10 with these self-protection in the future,but no information about developing them can be seen...

@CrimeAvenger2 , and what does education comes to do here? I say Type10 is a copy of Leo2a7, since it really looks like a Leo2a7... It uses a very similar armour shape, as well as a very similar canon. Worse, it ain't got no active protection (at least swiss's Leo2 got some Active protection stuff). And u cant fully rely on simple armour, as nowadays ATGM's and RPG's (PG29's & kornets in Lebanon as an example) have demostrated to be far more capable to defeat them. (continue on next post).

@aikowwww 90式戦車による走行間射撃　watch?v=PtxCtg0GBxM LEO2(ドイツ)やM1(アメリカ)の安定モード時は測距後のレチクル中心に弾が飛ぶ。これは移動目標でも同様。 ただ測距から激発までの間、目標の動きに合せてレチクルを重ね続ける入力操作は必要。 これと同時にレチクルを目標の任意の位置に合わせる精密照準を行うのは少々難しい。 ルクレール(フランス)の場合は測距後3秒間だけ自動で目標を追い続ける、いわゆる半自動追尾が可能。 この間の砲手の操作はレチクルの微修正に限定されるので高精度な照準が可能になる。 更に90式になると自動追尾で目標追い続けるので砲手は最初から精密照準に集中出来る。 10式も同様

@aikowwww FCSでなくサスペンションに関しても、こうした展示用の通常走行時は知らないがコンピューターによる自動制御で車体の揺れや砲撃の反動収束を行っており、実際に優れた耐振動性を見せている　こちらは試作時のテスト映像が色々あるのでそれを観てもらえば分かる そして90式と同じ説明となるが、近年のAPFSDS弾を装甲傾斜で防ぐには20度前後まで傾ける必要がある　よって金属系セラミックや炭素繊維等の素材技術に秀でる我が国は設計コスト面からシンプルな形状を選んだ 砲撃による性能評価では正面装甲は新型の高威力化120mm砲弾に耐え、側面もRPG-7(以前から耐弾性試験用に輸入)や30mm機関砲の掃射を防いだ 90式のもので良ければ情報公開法に基づき防衛省に開示要求を出せば見せてもらえる 知ったか気取りにしてもこれじゃなぁ… (･ω･｀)

某国の建設中のカジノ空母は運営のノウハウや専用の艦載機が無い状態ですの問題ないです。着艦時に車輪が折れたり離陸時に搭載兵器が極小など脅威になりません。潜水艦への対応も出来ない状態です。燃料や食料品の補給などの運行ノウハウもありません。またステルス技術なども一切もれていませんの問題ないです。あの怪しいステルス風な機体はエンジンに欠陥があるようです。AIM-9Lあたりに良く反応してしまうようです。
