If there will be an "11th century history be like..." 1000-1001 marks the official christianisation of Hungary with the coronation of Saint Stephen. In legends there was a fight against the staunch followers of the old religion. They were defeated and their leader Koppány was cut into four pieces and the parts paraded around the country.

@@genovayork2468 Thank you, I am aware 1000 is still the 10th century. I mentioned both dates because Stephen was crowned king on the Christmas of 1000 according to the then in use Julian calendar. With the introduction of the Gregorian calendar in 1582 which corrected a lot of dates put the actual coronation of Saint Stephen to 1001 january 1st.
