I can't help but read the changes as a nerf to good rogues and a buff to bad rogues. They're removing most of the small nuances that you can take advantage of. Big gain for qol and style of play, but I don't think these are necessarily buffs.

I like the idea, one elss thing to worry about. That said, I'm not sure having it auto cast the existing version of it is the right way to go about it. I think it would work a lot better as a passive ability which drastically increases your in combat energy regeneration, either by means of a self buff or passively in the background like how MP5 works.

I hate this change so much, I keep Thistle tea for CD usage. If those playing Rogue can't manage their energy right they need to hit up the training dummy. Hell if keep your energy above 50% you get extra damage at the cost of 2 extra energy points.

I'm ok with shadow having less burst damage in favor of better sustain. They really need adjustments in their scaling with gear. We've seen for the past two expansions how shadow starts the expansion off relatively weak, but once we get that end-of-expansion gear on us we are beastly in terms of overall damage. This to me indicates a problem with our scaling and how we benefit from gear stats. If we can have stronger base stats and benefit a little less from gear, especially at higher item levels, our power gains will feel more gradual and we won't need so many mid-season damage adjustments.

I love the style of play with Demonology. Ive been maining lock since legion and its onw of the few classes that really clicks with me as i know all the cool downs and mechanics of the class and i can solo tier 8 delves with it. Its just if you mess up your rotation or miss a proc it will really lower your DPS. I wish we had better shard regeneration or maybe even 6 shard slots so i wasnt always wasting shards on accident with my procs. Especially since infernal bolt generates 3. We need more shard slots.

Perhaps some kind of talent is required which causes your dots to behave as if mind flay is active whenever you move, and I’d also like an adjustment to fade which gives 100% avoidance for a short time, that way I can stay put and finish casting that spell I was in the middle of when something gets thrown under my feet yet again.

Druid both Guardian and Balance are actually good. Guardian is S-tier tank in both mythics and raids and also the easiest the play in terms of tanking by a large margin. I dont play balane but I've seen the damage they can do in my M+ pugs and they are no joke.

As a WW Monk I feel fine where its at, there could be a few things to touch on, but its also mostly a skill based class, which makes it more fun to play. Most of the time im still top dps in my raid group with classes like UH DK and Mages. Its all how you look at it and if you know your spec.

issue is that as the season progressed and we saw how well some classes were actually doing blizzard failed to update their patch notes for 11.0.5. leaving a lot of under performing classes in the dust while the current meta classes get a lot of changes. I have a good feeling they'll throw flat % damage increases like they've been doing all season long hoping to balance dmg out when they should be incorporating better talents/skills.

There has never been a point in WoW where Warlock hasn’t been exceptional in a raid tier. Look at Liquid’s Lock main THD, him being on Warlock was invaluable to their win. Affliction is very similar to Unholy. Lags behind in low keys but absolutely crushes in high keys where pulls can last several minutes.

@@Zach3rry59 No, not really. Go watch any recording of a Destro in a +13 Necrotic and you’ll see them demolishing frost dks. Destro is probably the highest AoE in the game right now without an Aug. Unholy is probably slightly above them if you’re pulling 4-5 packs onto the boss.

The sample size for people clearing +15s is incredibly skewed and limited to only the “meta” Most of us aren’t playing at that level and the keys we are doing. Paladin is so insane lol, I get on my Paladin and it really doesn't matter what I do...I just top DPS boards. I get do range and up close damage while moving and instacast. Arcane Mage everyone loves is true, but only on boss damage. The second you need to move you are screwed as unless Missile or Barrage is up then you need to stay still. Warriors still are gear dependent and while ill always love them, its for sure weak AF. My DK I noticed its a near joke of a class to play...just limited brain cortex functionality and you dominate...I can switch off and dominate like with Paladin. My warlock? Another easy class, Mage so far for me is the "advanced" class but im going to play around more...im do not intend to raid, I have a life so cant dedicate that time so AOE spec over single target may be better for me. Played since vanilla, this is always how it is and will be, have a bunch of toons ready and play that flavor of the patch class.

They are intentionally manipulating balancing for player retention goals, not balance goals. That much is clear. Considering everything else they do for retention times and $$$, why would they not rotate OP classes. The mage Tower hints at this - that blizzard considers certain specs as belong to the same “family”. Make a spec in the family strong and another spec garbage. That way, the warlock player is more likely to reroll to elemental shaman, for example, and less likely to unsub

My ret paladin is very good already and so is my shadow priest. I've been leveling my enhance shammy in delves as well and I can see why they are topping the charts at the moment as she is good at making mobs dissapear quickly, I do find her quite squishy though.

I think it's a pretty high chance of balance becoming meta and participating in god comp. It's already one of the best ranged DPS (only losing out for Aug) in the high keys. Mages are losing a lot of value with resto shaman and Aug being so damn strong, and with balance becoming meta, Prot warrior can become the best tank for pushing high keys (suppressing the guardian druids). I think the resto shaman, Prot warrior, aug, balance and frost DK maybe the god comp this time around

Sure, rogue in general is strong, with sin being like one of the 3 best melee dps specs in the game right now and OL being viable, but sub is absolutely just in the fucking gutters. In mythic raids, it's starting to fall off because you'd eventually run out of Vanish charges on longer fights and then your damage falls behind. In keys, the spec just doesn't do damage, period. @@TheComebackKids WW monks actually perform really well in raids and keystones. They also bring alot of utility. Majority of the time I'm top 5 in raid on most bosses and when it comes to cleaving bosses I top the charts. Same with keys. Tons of cleave in there. In my keys I'm usually number 1 on the charts. Alot of times you won't see big numbers on most of your pulls but if you check the overall you'll see that we have good sustain and burst to keep our numbers up. We can also pop off on ST if everything lines up good. Sure the meta classes can do more but they also have to perform just as well as me if they wanna out dps me lol

My Hunter is at 2,5k rio now, pugs only(where usually all my alts sit), yeah it takes some time to get invited, but have you seen the vast blow of people signing up for keys? If its a popular key you have usually 20-30 dd's in 1-2minutes in the 8+'s Key Levels. And I'm and altoholic playing literally everything being meta or not. I'm never struggling to get going, yeah you wont get insta-invites, but youll get them eventually. DPS-Wise, if you look at Raw Numbers (cause literally every spec has blasters who are at around 3k rio) on mythicstats.com for example, its pretty much as even as it has ever been IMO.

Let’s not begin with Mages, Aug evokers, Spriest and Boomkins are the more favorable pick for a push group. Being 4th best isn’t dominating. Worst tank spec in the game along side BrM. And Holy is fine. Still think RSham and Disc are better. So let’s back up what are you talking about? I personally main a rsham and I will never opt to invite a ret into the group unless it’s someone I know. Majority of them are very bad from my experience.
