11.000RPM Citroen C2 Suzuki || GSX-R1000 Mid-Engine Swap

Today we revisit one of the most unique Bike Engined Hillclimb Racers in Europe, Davor and Luka Fabijancic´s Citroen C2 Suzuki Proto, a GSX-R1000 powered spaceframed machine built for the Croatian Formula Driver Championship, while also participating on additional Hillclimb and Slalom events in the country.
Here you can see the 200Hp/11.000Rpm, 620Kg little Beast at Skradin, where it placed among the 10 Fastest Touring Cars on the event,while showing some impressive cornering speed and agility, mixing the short wheelbase with mid-engined, rear wheel drive dynamics.

True, but as you get lighter and lighter, the weight of the driver is much more significant in terms of power to total weight. I always think power to weight should include a standard figure for a typical driver, e.g. 75kg.

i think every motorsports has an emphasise on power to weight ratio, the problem is it has restricted minimum weight so the power to weight ratio is pretty balanced

The lighter you go the more unstable the vehicle gets, so you need more downforce and better weight distribution

Liter bikes are epic. However, with practice you can almost be just as fast on a 600. You will just have to shift gears a lot more. Liter bikes tend to have a lot more bottom end torque.

Can't go wrong with turning the high rpms of a sport bike, along with a good amount of power and ITB's and mounted in the middle. This thing is awesome and sounds great. Basically no body roll either. Looks like a blast to toss around!! Thanks for sharing this one.

Working up a 2005 Toyota Sienna Limited minivan with twin V6 vvt-i motors front/rear .. so AWD and somewhere around 540hp at wheels with slight tune. Reliable no-turbos. Probably superchargers though for better throttle response.

I once owned a C2 GT as a daily driver. All 6ft 5in of my brick shit house frame was comfy as, in it. Went well, handled well and was über reliable. Loved it. Part of me wishes I ever sold it and turned it I to this beast instead!
