This was a long drawn-out meeting. Jimmy Oliver got the ball rolling with the proposal to stay within the amount borrowed for the construction of a new city hall at $48 million. The rest was like watching a snake swallow a large rodent. My suggestion is skip in the video to the winning suggestion of the night from JACKIE HENDRIX @53:17. Instead of demolishing how about doing like most strapped homeowners in the city of Florence are doing currently if they have to make some improvements and REMODEL?! At least have a study to see what the actual COST will be! To listen to his suggestion from time 53:17 onward gives me respect for him as a council member.
