I remember one time around 1988 when Macho Man was kayfabe getting a beat down by a few wrestlers. A little kid jumped in the ring and started hitting the wrestlers to protect Macho. They kind of played it off as if it was part of the show. The wrestlers left and Macho thanked the kid while still selling his beat down. It definitely wasn't planned but i did like the way they handled it.

How about when Paige got jumped by a fan with a knife in the parking lot last year; it ended with him get pulled off and beaten by 6 other fans, 8 wrestlers (including Natalya who made him concust), and a vendor. He is banned for life, then again it has been said he wound up in a wheelchair after this so either way he got what he deserved.

Wrestling is a stunt men show calibrated, as in a movie scene, to keep the safety of those athletes the best way possible but it's dangerous for them to perform those moves anyway. If I remember right some time in the late 90s a fan who was handicapped jumped the barrier when Shawn was in the ring. Security, not realizing that the fan was handicapped, started to manhandle him. Shawn recognizing that the fan wasn't just a regular person, interceded and walked with the fan over to the group he escaped from. Even when Shawn wasn't a good guy backstage he still had a good heart.
