Hi Dusty, admire your sanding set up. You are a craftsman, don't let anyone tell you anything else. Love the fork thing. Everything is more commercialised nowadays with big business showing off their latest products, if you go with that in mind exhibitions and shows can be worthwhile but I tend to give them a miss nowadays.

Unfortunately, the majority of the public do not realize the work, effort, skill and tools that goes into the process of making a simple hiking stick. All things considered..........they are not so simple! This video gives an idea of what is really involved. You have my sympathies! Money is just proof of work. You work 40 hours, get payed, there is your proof of work, no matter what you do. You should charge more for your work. I believe I have said this before and I`ll say it again..........do not sell yourself cheap! Glad to see you`ve had a shave. All the best!

Yes the wife justified the expenses of razor's saying she thought I was a tramp when I came through the door.Andy.
