Hi, It's more about drying time with boild linseed oil or polyurethane finish. That can take 2/3 days.Add a day to make I guess 4 days start to finish. Thanks for watching. Andy.

andy have you ever used sycamore wood for making sticks and staffs

HI, yes I have used and worked Sycamore. Very light coloured wood when dry. I would suggest it's best suited to slightly heavier gauge sticks as it's not as strong as other species. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Andy.
