Noise canceling headphones and a neck pillow are a MUST for us! Especially with long bus/train/air travel.

Oooooh good call! We haven’t invested in noise canceling headphones yet but do travel with a neck pillow!
@EvanandLemon2 жыл бұрын
We literally use them all the time- especially when editing videos! We left one pair on a bus in France recently and bought a new pair the next day. Can’t live without them👏🏻👏🏻 total game changer 💛 What kind of neck pillow do you use?

ever since i found your guys packing video a few months ago, i’ve used only compression sacs on my recent onebag trips and they have worked like magic! i have a family christmas trip coming up in a few days and i know for sure the sacks are gonna come in extra useful for the fluffy sweaters im bringing haha for wrinkles, i’ve found that a quick spritz of wrinkle release spray (or a homemade one with fabric softener/hair conditioner + water + rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle) works wonders for travelling :)

YES! We love to hear this!! Haha. They really are a game changer for big sweaters and jackets. Great suggestions with the wrinkle solutions!

a pair of flipflops/slides comes in handy for me - 1. can change into them on a long flight for some relaxation, 2. protects your feet if you end up swimming somewhere rocky, 3. has saved my feet from some nasty shower/pool situations, 4. just a convenient alternative if you want to quickly go out without putting socks on, 5. if your main shoes get wet and need to dry out, can use them as a backup, 6. small/light enough to fit in a backpack, so with all the benefits you barely notice youre carrying them

Oh yes!! Carrying a pair of flip flops is so underrated!

Our travel list includes almost everything on yours. You changed my entire packing strategy with the compression stuff sack hint! Makes a world of difference! For water, we use Grayl purifying water bottles (we each carry one). It serves two purposes, water purification, and a water bottle for hikes. Well worth the money. We also carry bar shampoo, great for everything from washing hair to underwear.

We love to hear that!! And we’ve been hearing good things about Grayl water bottles lately… maybe we’ll have to check them out!

I always pack spare plastics to put used pieces for laundry, but not mixed undies with socks. For clothes used, just put at most bottom of suitcase with a bigger plastic separating from unused clothes at top. But this happens when I'm to go home because during duration of travel, I have regular washings so I always bring bar laundry soap (no spills like the powder one), then let it dry & replace in small plastic. Tip for washed wet undies or bathing suit, squeezed well then roll in a spare towel & put on top of vertical heater rods. OR after rolling in dry towel, hang on drawer handle or put in clothes hanger hanging at back of chairs but put in direction where the A/C air blows. I don't want to keep the exhaust fan in the bathroom running for a long time.

My cheap, Dollar-store sunglasses are a must pack for me. Not only is it no big deal when I lose them BUT they are also ones that fit over my prescription glasses 😆

Haha perfect solution!

In addition to small bar shampoo, etc…there are also laundry sheets, tiny stick skin lotions, and stick sunscreen. Matador’s tiny soap bag seems highly recommended.

Thanks a lot for sharing - again. All very good and, are actually making me think of a Gopro. I don't normally take any photos as, I know they will disappoint me but, this looks just great - thanks 💕❤️💕

Definitely keep a lookout for some good sales! A GoPro is definitely a very versatile travel camera 😊

#12 Benadryl I very rarely use benadryl at home, and had a heightened allergic reaction to mosquitoes in Ecuador. It was a smaller town on the coast, and Benadryl was completely unavailable. I still have the scars to show for it.

Ahhh this is such a good idea! I (Sarah) have the same issue… my arms and legs still have small bruises from bites a month ago 😬😬
@djk5v2 жыл бұрын
Thankfully, you only have scars and didn’t go into anaphylaxis; that’s scary. I’m allergic to shellfish, and it’s gotten progressively worse; thankfully no anaphylaxis yet. I decided not to risk it and always keep an up to date epi pen on me.

@@djk5v I hope you also have a medic-alert bracelet. If you ever end up in hospital & unconscious you don't want to be given x-ray dye. Stay safe!

A bar of Castile soap! Can wash yourself, brush teeth and wash clothes. Also, dryer sheets- they are great to keep laundry and-shoes from smelling.

Interesting! Never heard of that… we’ll have to check that out!

As I pointed out in my comment..I only have 8KG carry on which included the personal item...A 3rd is the weight of the bags!.I can never undertsand how folks I see in videos seem to carry so much more than I what i think carry-on allowanes are....How?...How much does all your weight?....I am carrying virtually nothing..certainly no laptop or tablet...yet I see folks packing in both and the rest and still able to get it within the limits of carry-on?....
@Bodneyblue2 жыл бұрын
Oh..and I am not taking a camera...just my mobile...How folks can take so much yet I can barely take the basic.

I'm going to be a smart aleck: I can't travel without my passport. lol I guess my real answer is sunblock. It seems to be hard to find in places where it's needed, like high elevation.
@EricandSarah2 жыл бұрын
Haha yes!! Can’t forget that or you’re not going very far. Sun block is also a good one - one that we somehow keep forgetting to use in our travels…

a Kemier Collapsible Silicone Water Bottle 750 ml is better for travelling , also maybe a steripen to sterilise water
