Just started lessons (63), its a lot harder than it looks, even just keeping balance when throwing punches and the arms get so heavy. Good luck!! The hardest part is the coordination required being the other half while training.

Remember to the fight Will be limited rounds so throw those power jabs take control early and wait for the opening etc etc….you got heavy hands so use it wisely.

You are right. It’s only going to be a four rounder for the first fight. So drill the jab in there. I could do that.

@@BigNick504 I’ll do everything in my power to help you ,it’s hard when I’m not hands on and trust I’ve only trained one guy at heavyweight and he didn’t last bc he was a bad listener…..you got a great father ,only if we all had fathers like him . ♥️

@@UncleTermite I appreciate that man. I call him my pops but that’s actually Thomas Harper. He was the #9 cruiser weight at one point. We are just super similar and very close. I am the first heavyweight Tommy has ever trained before I believe. So we are both learning on the job.

@@BigNick504 That’s awesome,I used to spar Yuri Vauilin the Cruiserweight champion back in the day for a short period in NY and he said I was to good and I took over his class this was after he fought Tommy Morrison and I was 160 pounds . lol

Dont paw that jab out there lead with the shoulder tuck your chin behind it and thrive with slight bending (your to straight up ) double the jab triple it make sure your opponent’s not timing the sequences …..you’ll win your debut off the jab and work around that punch man I wish I had one day with you …lol…you look good though just remember your first line of defense is that jab and it needs to be a power shot at least 80% of the time .
