Tip for people who jog with their phones. If you think a car is following you, turn and obviously take a picture of the licence. Or a video. Text it to a friend or family along with your location and tell them if they don't hear from you in X amount of time to call the police. Then you call the nonemergency line.

@@jessicagaston232 You can call the emergency line too, but many feel like if nothing has actually happened then they shouldn't be a bother. While everyone should have the feeling they can call 911 (or their countries equivalent) this isn't always the case. In the USA both of these lines are answered at the Public Safety Answering Point (IE 911 call center) Telling people to call a non-emergency line may in some cases help to quell doubts that calling is an overreaction when they may be in real danger, and the person who picks up no matter which situation you are in will have the resources to help and dispatch to your area should you be in need.

I’ve had things like this happen to me dozens, if not hundreds, of times. Not everyone is the reporting kind. The criminal justice system doesn’t work for everyone. Believe me, the way I live, if I DID report something, I wouldn’t announce it online, or it would be more problems. Thankfully, the worst I ever did was to corroborate a child’s report when I was a witness. Oh, and I have reported when someone was literally throwing their child against the wall and s/he was begging not to be killed. I mean, if I die for that, that’s cool, since I wouldn’t sleep again if I didn’t. Other than that...no thanks for your protection, pigs. I like breathing.

What is up with women going out jogging / running after 10 PM? That is risky behavior, unless you have a big dog w/ a strong bark. A friend of mine would go running before her graveyard shift as a nurse. She would borrow her neighbors husky/wolf hybrid dog to run. Twice during her runs the dog put the fear of God into idiots who tried to get close. She would say "She doesn't like men!" BTW - The owners of the dog were so grateful for her taking their dog on the run. The dog was calmer & more manageable.

When I was a kid there use to be those old vans not talking about ur family mini vans. The old shitbix style from the 70S 80s . Where I lived there was a kid that got kidnapped by one of those vans. So Everytime me or my friends would be going home at night time I we would see one of those vans would run up to the front door of any house .Till the van past to this day if I'm walking on road at night if I see a shitbix van or work truck I vere towards a house.
