I don’t comment much but I just want to say how much I appreciate your videos. A lot of alike channels, switched to do tool reviews, with a bunch of links in description when they got bigger audience. So thank you for not shoving tools 24/7 in our faces and keep giving us what we liked about your channel!!

One can never go wrong keeping an ample supply of painter's tape around! I use it for pert near all of my cuts, however I must admit that I haven't tried using it with the hole saw on my drill press. I need to try it and see what happens. I just did a project with a not-so-good hole saw, and it pert near wrecked the boards entirely. So, a new blade is first on the list, and then I'll try it with some painter's tape. I really enjoyed the brad nail trick for drilling a hole as well. Those tiny little bits break when you look at them cross-eyed, so this is a really neat idea as well. Thanks, Matt. Great stuff!

I was working at my father-in-law's last week and needed a 1/8" bit to pre drill some boards. I couldn't find his bits so I clipped the head off a 6d nail. It worked well enough for my purposes.

Back in the day before nail guns, I used a lot of finish nails to put things together. I would chuck a finish nail in my drill to make pilot holes so the wood wouldn't split when I drove in the nail. Your tip on replacing a small bit reminded me of my old practice. Yes, I don't think I have any tiny drill bits that have not been broken off in a project. 😢
