I’ve lost 90lbs this year by doing nothing but counting calories and walking. I plan on losing another 30 lbs early next year and adding lifting. Doing it for no one but myself and not comparing myself to anyone. It’s been tremendous for my mental health and overall health. Thanks James.

Excellent work mate…..Did exactly the same during lockdown, 140 pds lost….but put 80 or so back on since 🤦‍♂️…so once you’ve lost the additional 30, please please please don’t do what I did and let it creep back on…a pound here and there, eat what you want…bla bla…I did it all as it was ok as I’ve lost 140…I’m now about to start again on another journey, now 54 and more tired than ever etc…..

I've lost 50 since April but now plateaued with 20 more to go. Driving me crazy. Used Google watch and lose it app to keep on track. Walk 6 k every morning and weights every other day with some cardio on the off days. Got to push through for this last 20

I lost 70lbs last year over 6 months. I’ve put on 7lbs over Christmas and I don’t care. Because I had a damn good Christmas and I can’t wait to get back in the gym and counting calories. A large part of that has been motivated by your videos James so thank you.

That means that you've lost 3 lbs of fat per week. Again, with my math and what this guy said in this video, 3lbs x 3500 calories in 1lb of fat =10.500 calories deficit to lose that fat. You need to be on your death bed or very sick to lose that much fat every week for 6 months. You need to think that our body is becoming more efficient when you lose more than 10 lbs of fat and it's going to slow down that loss.

Woke up at 5 am for no reason at all. Got my coffee and sat here watching this compilation. I will forever love these videos as they are golden info, but they remind me to pump the brakes on self flagellation that comes with menopause and just being a girl in this world. Thanks for the hilarious reminder.

I can barely watch a video thats more than 5 minutes long but this one, I watched from start to finish and could have watched another hour of it. Cheers James.

2023 lost weight and started lifting April 5 days a week, hit 225lb bench last month. Taken two weeks off workout as too busy week before Christmas then got the flu. First day back yesterday felt good to get back at it and benching today. Goals for 2024 are to lose bit more weight, get my bench up to 300lb, start deadlifting and improve my squat, let's get it!

Actually 2023 was one of my best years for weight loss, went from 105 to 92 and getting closer to my goal with every day. Your advice has helped a lot, currently my main thing was cycling and calorie tracking has done me wonders. Did IF, but it was alright, but didn't change too much except for make it easier to keep things in check.

This is such a good video. I used to be 21 stone. I got in real good shape, down to 12 stone, was a Navy diver. I just couldn’t maintain it! It killed me, I had to train like an athlete and then the injuries came. Snapped my Achilles which lead to weight gain. I found powerlifting & Muay Thai/bjj. I now fluctuate between 15-17 stone over the years. I don’t look how I did at 10-12% body fat. But I’m way happier, stronger, sleep better.

I removed myself from IG. Best decision of my life. I immediately and automatically stopped comparing myself to others. I'm feeling instantly better. Also, most people prefer to just care to focus on The top 10 because if we all took the time to accept the average which is the majority of us, would mean we would actually have to do the work and look at ourselves. And who wants to do that? (Not the majority).

2023 was my best fitness year for probably 20 years, and then, late in November, I tore a muscle or something in my side. Not been able to do much, and now I feel like crap. But it is just about healed, and I have so many plans for 24, both cardio, strength and diet. Great timing for this video, sure it'll motivate and give further new ideas. Happy new Years to all and one.

Spoke to my girl about how annoying activity trackers can be just a couple days ago. They are great for tracking your distance. But otherwise.. Don’t see the point of them for helping you with exercising. Pretty much all of what you said hit the nail on the head 👌 now I can go to her and show her what the expert said. Haha. great video. Looking forward to more of your content in 2024. Cheers 🤙

Really brilliant video. I'm coming down from 125kg but my peak was nearly 150kg a few years ago. Using LoseIt to track my eating and going to the gym just training some basic weights with a friend 5x a week (+walking) has me losing 3kg in 10 days.. I'm actually a bit worried about that rate of loss so I'm going to up my calories a bit for the time being. Thank you for making such a great longform video, legend 👑

I needed to hear this. I have belly fat even though I’m generally pretty lean. For me to lose that belly fat I would have to drop to such a low level of body fat that I look, and quite frankly feel, unwell. And my belly is the first place for that fat to go back on. It’s just not sustainable so I’m going to have to learn to live with it…..
