11 - We're Settling Into Our Old French Farmhouse!

We're getting comfortable in our new home this week, truly making it our own. I've been doing some cooking and tidying up around the house. It's also time to bid farewell to the caravan, but before we do that, we're going to take you on a tour of it and show you how we've been living for the past few months.

Lucie may have been traumatized by crate/caravan living, but she now enjoys a perfect cat life: plenty of mice to hunt, chickens to watch and a sunny window perch for napping. June seems content, too, but then again, dogs are rarely picky or demanding. 😉

Yeah we had no choice to put Lucie in a crate in the caravan when we made the journey here and ever since then she wouldn't enter anymore 😂. But they cant complain they have the easy life now!

I’ve loved watching your daily life as you have brought your new home and farm back to life. The chickens, Lucie and June are very entertaining but Odin is the real star of each video. Thanks for sharing while you cook, clean the outbuildings, mow the grass and use the wood chipper; it is actually very enjoyable! Now I want a wood chipper, too.

Hey Vintage, haha the woodchipper is a beast and with the veg garden we will be able to use the chippings for pathways! The place needs a lot of love but hopefully after we are done it can go another few hundred years!

Thx! We have to sell it though, too much money tied into it. Haha the tv was important for me i was going from a house to a caravan but i wanted to be able to watch a movie or have a game or whatever and Anicia needed to be able to edit so it worked out very nice not much space to be able to turn it from bedroom to the "living room" but it worked. I remember being actually quite happy with the result 😂.
