The fact that other kid ran a 33 second first 200, then lead most of the race, and didn’t completely fall apart is also pretty impressive. But sub 10 minutes 3000 meters as a ten year old is amazing.

I ran in the same places as patricio before i went to highschool, im 14 in highschool running a 11 minute 3k and when someone mentioned his name i completeley remembered watching him run. He can solo about 99% of my highschool team at his age currently. A true legend

It's my understanding that Victor ran some other distances so it's probable that his legs just ran out of juice at the end. Not sure about Pardo. Regardless, it was a great accomplishment and race by all these young men.
