Oh, kids have been scared enough and in a panic since the beginning of time-especially with strict parents who rule in part by fear. The difference here is that he had access to a firearm in his desperate moment. I experienced extreme cruelty from a group of high school bullies for 3 years. I’m so grateful that I DIDN’T HAVE ACCESS to a firearm at that time of complete and utter despair my 16 year old self was enduring.

So this lawyer thinks homeschooling could be a reason?! Ok, let’s say that’s true…which I know it isn’t but let’s give this guy the benefit of the doubt and say he’s right. What about bullying at the school also cause children to do school shootings. So homeschool is a bad thing and public schools are an issue too. So then what?! I would like him to answer that??? Since you want to blame the victim then at least have the decency to go through all scenarios. 😒

Is he truly blaming mom's homeschooling and hinting at the neurodivergent community? He has no idea. Neurodivergence is NOT the reason for erasing your family! This was planned and he tried to blame his brother, this was not an impulse crime There may be mental issues with anger regulation, but not neurodivergence as such. This approach rather hints at either sociopathy or psychotic paranoid behaviour.

So tired of these people coming on and automatically making it always about mass shootings by kids. Or death by firearms for kids. Automatically putting blame on parents, which is quite frankly ridiculous.

So... your arguments on the homeschool front, means this kid is simply a... school shooter??? Like all the others we have seen for years now publicand privately educated. So mental illness does not discriminate. I believe what you meant to say was that the mom in this case did her best for her child, and sadly, it cost her and her family their lives.

Home school children generally have much better empathy, connection to family & more respectful. No one really knows about this family or child yet
@cjr9298Күн бұрын
Wrong. Completely false. Research actually proves the opposite. When not exposed to complex situations and diverse populations that exist in public schools or non-home schooled environments children do not learn about these things and tend to be much more closed off, closed minded, and intolerant. Homeschooling is keeping children sheltered and locked in a bubble. You cannot learn empathy if you are only exposed to the same few people, culture, and home every single day of your life. Where are you getting your stats and research from? What I provided is easily found in academic and scientific research journals.

15 yr old did it, not younger brother who got shot four times and had no GSR on his hands. Shooter went on to scheme and lie saying his younger, dead, brother did this. Horse pucky! Eleven yr old sister should never be subjected to her brother’s presence again unless she’s an adult and chooses. So sad for all the victim’s loved ones R.I.P.

NOBODY should be casting shade on the heroic eleven year old survivor of this tragic abomination, nor the thirteen year old, whom the perpetrator tried to set up as a fall guy. It’s absurd to even discuss the other kids’ involvement in any way. The parents are the victims as well. There is only one person who has culpability in this crime and he needs to be tried as an adult. Some people are born bad.
