It sucks but the daughter and ex wife really should wrap their heads around the fact that Donald, whether due to alcohol, drugs, the stripper wife, whatever the reason, he turned into a p.o.s. and was no longer the husband and dad they knew. He wanted his young stripper wife and he got her, so be it. He created his own fate as a forty-something year old man. Rebekah was wrong but so was Donald. It all sucks. To pretend that he played no part in his own death is just straight up denial and it's ignorant.

@@FaithMichelle420 I dunno if you've ever been physically abused by someone, I hope you haven't. Either way, if you had, you'd know that every hit, kick, punch, slap, dog-cussing you take, it kills a little bit of the love you have for someone. The love is replaced with fear, hatred, loss of hope, defeat, frustration, resentment ...sometimes, not sayin it's right...but sometimes the negative overflows and there's no love left. Sometimes people snap. Even if the person isn't hurting you in that moment, some people just are fed up and know prison can't be any worse. So No Ma'am or Sir, Abuse is never an excuse for murder. However, abuse is absofuckinglutely a Reason.

Yes, absolutely. I was in an abusive relationship. He was a drunk, verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive. I thought I couldn't do better since I was disabled with a young son. It's a part of life we never talk about. Thankfully, he was sometimes at his father's house half the time. But still he heard and watched. When I heard him starting verbally on my son is when I knew I had to get out. What's also sad. Is that men find these younger women and leave their wives and children. For what they think is the greener side. It changes them. His wife says he was never like that with her. You can't compare the 2. Video doesn't lie that he was abusive to Rebekkah right in front of her son. As a mother, his ex and daughter should not be condoning his behavior for any reason. Absolutely no excuse. If you're a real man, you brush off moat comments. It's funny how there's NO video of her hitting him. Just proves to you that he was the abuser

He probably wasn't. Does no one recognize that when he hits her she's in his face or storming off. Surely she wasn't saying sweet things. Alcohol affects your decision making ability, they drink way too much. Their friend says she instigated it, so she probably verbally provoked him women always know how to attack your insecurities. Being drunk feeling like his manhood was challenged he hits her in retaliation. Which is completely wrong on his part, but she knew what she was doing. Which was wrong on her part. We often say that physical abuse is more wrong than emotional abuse. But I would argue they are equally wrong. At end of the day she shoots him in the head without reason, he was just sitting on the couch trying to call his daughter, she was completely wasted went into the other room to get a gun and shoots the guy. She's a murderer and not like women who are really abused and doesn't deserve the same respect.

The ex wife was with him before he became a raging alcoholic. The daughter doesn’t want to remember her father as a alcoholic abuser but it’s on video. He repeatedly hits her. I saw no video of her hitting him. With no sound we can’t hear what happens before he attacks her but that doesn’t justify attacking her either. The daughter also only heard her fathers side of the story. The little boy would have better knowledge of their home life and what was going on. He saw it.

Happy the comments passed the vibe check y’all. I thought I was losing it for how I felt. He didn’t just hit her, he smacked her out of existence at times. He wasn’t this man that they used to know. I was abused by someone, no one believed me because in front of everyone else - he was the person everyone wanted to be around. He has a wife now, I don’t know if he hurts her. At the time I was in college and we were together for 4 years partying, and living our life. Partying changes people. Maybe him having a wife and children now and not being in college partying has changed him. But regardless, the first time he hit me was on my 21st birthday in a NYC bar. He got kicked out, and I chased him down trying to get him to take me to the hotel, getting a smack every time I approached him. I was young and stupid. But a person put me in a taxi and said “it’s time to go, leave him behind - I work for a domestic violence line.” I don’t know if she really did, but I’m glad she did that. I even went to an nyc cop in a park - flirting with girls - he did absolutely nothing for me but this stranger did. This was 6 months into our relationship. The day I left him he hit me on both sides of my head at the same time. I weighed roughly 115 pounds. He weighed 190 at least. I fell to the ground. I pretended to go to work that morning and called my Dad. Told him everything. I never went back. Moral of the story, I still see him here and there. He lives his life like he’s never abused me for 4 years. And I’m sure his friends and family think he never touched me aggressively. Just because someone doesn’t abuse you, doesn’t mean they don’t have the ability to do it to someone else.

(Who overall ignored my cries and believed him while he was calling my parents apologizing saying he was suicidal and he wants to work it out bc he loves me) And I tried calling his Mom, to have her get him in counseling, and she told me what happened between us, should stay between us. So, my trauma is also - because I didn’t get police reports when he hit me, or go to the police ever - May his wife be enduring the same abuse if not worse? That scares me. And I feel it’s my fault.
