As always, excellent advice. I delete a lot of regular emails that I receive, however, I never delete your emails. I make sure what valuable info you'll share. Very useful. Thank you, Russell.

Thanks for all your help, Russell! This year I'm doing something I've never done before, and it will be a flipped classroom. Your discussion gave me some good ideas, especially regarding assessment and ways to encourage students to expand their techniques of communicating.

Another great video. I don't know why it's taken the pandemic to get me to consider flipping my classes. What you say about assessing in a new way posed by flipping the class is interesting made me stop and think about assessment (which, for me right now, has been a real difficult aspect to approach, especially summative assessment). Can you give an example of this new kind of assessment, one that would assure that students would not be able to or, perhaps, even want to use resources other than their own minds? Thanks.
