110cc quad bike flywheel removal

Thread pitch for that quad was 28mm x 1mm pitch

If you move or turn your flywheel at all on your ATV does it affect the timing if so what do you need to do to fix it

Hi Shawn, the fly wheel can only go on one way due to there being a key/keyway arrangement on the tapered shaft. You are correct, without the key, the timing could be in the wrong position. I omitted to show this in the video. Cheers:)

What does the metal clip/guide do that you removed at 6:52? I have a new ATV that has broken two starter chains and I noticed I have a screw hole for that metal clip you removed but there's nothing there. I am trying to determine if that's my issue.

The clip seems to stop the sprocket from falling out whilst the cover is off. Might be your issue??

The starter chain broke on my son's atv. Do I need the special tool to pull the flywheel in order to replace the chain? If so, do you have a link for the tool?

No, not needed. Should be able to replace chain without removing the flywheel.

Does the flywheel move freely by hand? Mine gets tougher to turn every half turn and my new starter won't crank

Hard to say what's wrong, it will get hard to turn half way due to piston compression. Might be normal, might have an issue with engine or maybe starter? Turning in opposite direction to engine rotation should be normal, free to turn, due to Sprague clutch.
