Julie - please don’t allow the perfectionist in you to dull your joy at what you create. Remember, beauty comes in all forms and you really do create beauty in your artwork. There isn’t one single resin pendant-petrie dish that I don’t enjoy. I’d very happily wear any one of them. They’re just beautiful. Even if you don’t like them for pendants; perhaps you can do those ones as fridge magnets. They really are quite pretty and it bothers me that you easily discard anything less than (your) version of perfection. I thoroughly love your creations and truly appreciate all that you put into them. Your work is marvellous. With kindness and blessings to you dear Julie. 🌺🌴

Any that you find ugly and you want to trash. That's with all your work my son and I would love to have them. You see my son is autistic and we are all different just like art. He fell in love with collecting artwork that other people find ugly or not usable and not to their liking. My name is Susan Greene and my son is Jay Jay. Thank you.

you should get some of those little bottles with the needle dropper top and pre-mix your alcohol inks, that way they're closable and wont evaporate too fast, and would make dropping easier. The green ones look like marshland or grassy beaches from a drone or space. The orange ones look like color space photos with red clay heavy areas, Very pretty!!

I just had an idea, when you're working with these alcohol based inks that dissipate over time, try getting eye droppers to put the inks in, the stuff is concentrated in the tube, it's closed off, and you get more uniformed drops.

Lovely Julie!!! Very pretty!!! Be more positive. Even if each one doesn't turn out perfect or the way you intended, enjoy the beauty of the imperfections. That is what makes them special, unique, one-of-a-kind and individual. Sometimes you seem a little too hard on yourself and that is totally unnecessary. You are super talented and unique just like every one of your art creations. Celebrate that!!!! 😚😚

right up my alley again! always interested in more experiments. The blue/green ones are just lucious, and look like under the sea type stuff. Would go well with little embedded sea life! You know, when you get your needle nose droppers, you could also put in some inks that are pre-mixed with white in them as well...I'm thinking of sinking my needle nose into thickened resin and drawing patterns that way...kind of a 3-d look without waiting for it to sink by itself. I dunno if it'll work. Thanks, Julie!

May I suggest a way to deal with the alcohol ink evaporating? I've found that when that happens, you can add a little regular isopropyl alcohol or alcohol ink solvent to the dried pigment. It will instantly combine with the evaporated pigment and voila you have more alcohol ink. Go easy with adding the alcohol. A little at a time so you won't dilute it too much.

I recall you mentioned trying to avoid touching the toothpick to the mold when swirling the resin and colorants. Maybe a silicone tool would be helpful. They may be available elsewhere but I have found them on Amazon. They are Micro Applicator Brushes = 500 for $9.99 via USA Amazon. As always your videos are both informative and entertaining.

These are great 👍 are the deeper ones giving you the bigger feathers? The more shallow flat seem to give you the smaller feathers. I use E6000 to adhere my cabochons to the bezel and it works great. It stays a bit flexible so it won’t break away from the bezel or the cabochon

Julie, when you mixed the alcohol colors with the white did you find that it lightened the color at all? I haven't tried this technique yet but I will be doing so tomorrow. Curious what mixing the white with a lighter color would do and if it would sink or spread in the resin...
