Absolutely!! Especially when the sun is directly on the door you can’t even touch it. Was yours a single, 2 singles or double width door ?

@@rollerdoors Double width panel door. Which the old owners have ran into and dented numerous times 🤦🏻‍♂️ If I had the money I'd get a new one plus new motor ah well one day 🤞👍

I have been looking at the similar products. Do you know if they required their door spring to be re-tensioned due to the additional weight?

No these are super light weight. You could add 1-2kg no problem. The main issue with low spring tension is the cables will come off when the doors fully open. Tiny bit of extra weight won’t affect the operation. It’s when you add like 4 litres of paint to a door it’s will need some more spring tension
