Korth is running non-rimmed cartridge extractors in their cylinder. I have no personal experience about using one, but from what I've seen in pictures and videos, they work well. Moon clips can be a pain, flimsy, easy to lose, sharp and hard on fingers. The ability to pop rimless cartridges right into a cylinder and whack the ejector and remove them after firing, is pretty superb. Just wish it wasn't a $3500 revolver feature.

The BMT Mooner is the best tool for loading and unloading moon clips. I have four of them: S&W 986 7-shot 9mm, Ruger SP101 5-shot 9mm, S&W 610 10mm, S&W Governor 45 ACP.

Do you know if they make a six shot 9mm loader though? I want this gun but I'm not buying it without a solution for loading the moon clips and I've checked the bmt sooner website and found nothing for it.

@@Jeff-mn1uq , I checked the website, looks like they do not. I'm guessing they are focusing their production on the makes and models that more people own. Generally speaking, revolvers that shoot un-rimmed cartridges are not popular. I'm a revolver fan and prefer .38 and .357, but it is getting too difficult and expensive to buy (at least where I'm at), so I'm rebuilding my revolver collection with 9mm, 10mm, and .45 ACP. Hope that helps.

Man, I had a chance to get that a while back and didn't. I regret it! 3" revolver is the sweet spot, for sure.

My front site popped out too. It's a cool piece to shoot. 9mm revolvers make sense to me for some reason.

I don't think you can use a 9mm moonclip revolver in Idpa stock revolver class.
