as much as I love this song I'm not sure this would be a good strategy... I really want Wendy to win this season and making her perform her own song might give folks the impression that she's already a professional singer (which she obvs is but I feel like the biggest critique about her so far is that she doesn't need a platform on the voice since she's already "famous")

@@MrBookaholic99 Again, I totally understand where y’all are coming from but, we have to remember that just by being on the Voice is giving all these artists worldwide attention. It doesn’t matter where you are in the professional aspect because I didn’t know who she was until this show which is sad in it’s own right. We’ve had professional singers before Kyla Jade, Jermaine Paul, Katie Kadan just to name a few. This is just the platform they need to get to the next step.

I'm a former member of the Memphis Music Commission aka Memphis Music Matters. I was in the house that night when Wendy... excuse me, Ms Moten, blew the roof off that place with that performance!! The energy in the house that night was unreal!!! I'll step out there and BOLDY say Memphis Hard Rock NEVER realized what they had in the Music Commission!!! Countless, ULTRA TALENTED acts graced the stage when they were across from Wet Willie's and the current location at Beale and Second!!
