My husband and I went through it and I say we went through because we were almost 3 days of terror in our home 🏠 . We felt that the house was going to go flying piece by piece. But thank God nothing happened and we were able to follow the instructions of the State and we stocked up on food.. Lamps. candles. Etc etc. The cars are still covered in snow on top of the vehicles 🚗 and it's still snowing. In other words we are confident since the beginning of the Blizzard but very safe. There is no need to go out looking for any danger. Stay safe. Nature is not relaxing and this is not a joke. Being in a Blizzard and who has never experienced one is a true hell. Everything freezes in its path and the temperatures are exasperating even if you are warmly dressed. Follow recommendations and do not expose yourself, your families or the rescuers. I’m am terrified just viewing the footage of this blizzard which in my area was rain and wind. We do have blizzards here and they are awful. I don’t think there’s been a blizzard though I’ve ever seen or been in this bad. I am glad you made it through. People who went out became disoriented from the white- out conditions and some died from exposure. How did you keep warm in your home? Do you have power back? Wishing you well, and keep safe.

@@teresas8173 In the houses in Buffalo 99.9% have a fireplace and Thank God 🙏 the light 💡 was only out for a few hours. We also put water to boil and that works like hot 🔥 🥵 inside the home, plus we also have excellent heating because the property is ours and the system is new. My son and I used to live there. The snow would come under the doors and through any space around the windows. 3, to 4 feet most of the time. We left there years ago.
