How do you bring the switcher into solaris?

Is there a way to do a smooth switch? For example having a pan between two cameras when it switches, like in C4D

You can use the object level blend node for basic stuff, or there is a really nice tool in MOPS+

Do you know a way to swtich the $RFSTART and $RFEND within the take ?
@MarkFancherFX Жыл бұрын
Usually if I want to render multiple outputs with different frame ranges, I'll use separate ROPs and define the frame range properties on the node as opposed to trying to do so with overrides and the take system. But if you are using the take system and want to adjust your frame ranges on a single ROP accordingly, you can right click on the Start/End/Inc parameter and select, "include in take" and then just set those values accordingly. This doesn't directly override the $RFSTART and $RFEND variables - as far as I know, modifying these variables using a take system isn't possible without building a python script to handle it, but I could be wrong. But hopefully one of these ways will help you get you on your way!

Hey! These videos are so helpful! Is there a way to import multiple camera movements from the object level into Solaris? Or is there a workflow to accomplish this with Karma?

I am not sure, my Solaris journey is just beginning - but I hope to create more info on that in the coming months!

@@MarkFancherFX Ahh ok...I tried scene import, but it doesn't recognize the switcher smh. Thanks for the response though! Excited to see future videos!☮
