Yeah this isn't the same model. I do think it's hard for general consumers because these brands like Dasaita, Joying, Teyes ect. just reuse the same product names like "BRAND 10.1 inch" for every single model, making it harder to know what model/specs you're getting. Is it a 2019 version? 2020? 2021? Obviously all revisions will be improved, but how can you know?

i like it allows to rotate from horizontal to vertical , and what i need is waze , music for spotify/bluetooth, reverse camera... thats all... other functions are redundance and the screen is too big.. 8 - 10 inches is good enough for me...

No I did not, but what I heard from a friend who has the same unit it is "50 watts x 4 - Good enough for 4 front speakers (2 tweeters & 2 mid range)" with advise to get an amp. But best to confirm this with company before buying

But a few questions is there anyway you can put a simcard in it so you can have 4g or just use internet everywhere instead of wifi and iv heard the audio quality is great but would love to hear your perspective on it and or is screen mirroring any good on it? @@theanswer1221 no simcard option available on mine :( and as for the audio quality, it's good but I think it will also have to depend on your own car's sound system. I've not tried screen mirroring as I didn't find any need to - prefer it to work as a separate screen and all the functions I need are available already without screen mirroring - however I have a feeling it will not work as smooth

I believe as long you have an app that can support this codec, you can install it and play videos from there but I currently do not have any with that codec

I remember reading it somewhere but I don't recall where or how. If Google doesn't help, try asking the seller, they should be able to guide you. Question though, does yours boot up everytime you start your car? Because I rarely see the boot up screen, mine just loads straight away to the homepage everytime I start my car

@@endtimes6550 I bought a can-bus module, to the module I connect CAN + and CAN- that comes from the car, at the output I have only one wire to connect it to the radio and I have to choose between KEY1 and KEY 2, 3 wires KEY1-KEY2-GND come out from the radio. just connect KEY1 or KEY2? nothing works if you connect only one of the two

what kind of files are you referring to? You mean placing shortcuts of those files on the homescreen?

@@ShawnLoong Storage files; used by map apps for off-line use. Some apps will ask where you want to store map file that you download via WIFI, then access later when there is no Internet. Usually an SD card. which this unit does not have but I am told a flash drive can be used via USB.

14:36 thats to dangerous to be that close to your steering wheel , your gonna accidentally hit the screen one day turning a corner and cause an accident , you should try and modify a monitor control arm mount etc something and have a controllable arm mount that holds it closer to the passenger seat dash area

I had a technician install a Tesla touch screen on my Ford Explorer 2017. Everything works fine, but the "open door image" displays even when I shut all the doors. I looked at a KZbin video and the Xinbasi protocol was selected. I tried the Xinbasi protocol. I tried Explorer HI then selected Xinbasi but it does not have a drop-down menu to show me the list of car info like the one you are experimenting with. Selecting the Xinbasi resolved the door ajar warning light but messed up with the air conditioning. It was no longer operating. And there are 3 types of Ford Explorer: Explorer HI, Explorer LO, Explorer LOLO. And the protocols are too many to try all of them. So, I'd be grateful if you could tell me which type and protocol is the functional one for my Ford Explorer 2017. Here are more details on my vehicle. Trim Level: XLT Engine Size: V6, 3.5 It originally came with a small radio screen or infotainment screen. Yes you can, Nova launcher has a setting that allows you to do that, however I notice that on launching some apps, the top bar reappears again (and I can't seem to get rid of it on some apps). That annoyed me so I decided to just keep it for a more seamless experience :)

Not worth the $500! Just buy a $200 android tablet, magnetic mount it to your dash and that's it! No wobble or anything. I have a Bluetooth adapter so all sound comes through stereo. I have all my Spotify music and google maps downloaded to the tablet so no internet needed! I also use the ANDROID AUTO for phone app for a launcher. It's amazing.

Hmm the setup wouldn't be as "clean" though. Since you still need to charge the tablet with a cable. Also no reverse cam and AUX connection provides higher quality audio than bluetooth which could potentially mean more wires (if it matters to that individual) but an interesting proposition nevertheless!

I looks funny but the usability is really bad on a big screen like that. I still can't believe that Tesla does this. No one can tell me that they are not distracted by searching things on that screen without buttons.

These Chinese products are all the same.. painfully slow hardware and impossibly horrible software. Yeah looks "cool" and is "big" but.. WHAT IS THE POINT??? The user experience of these products is a nightmare....

So what's the alternative then? It's still better than my stock radio, it's so much easier to use waze on and it makes my 10yo car look fresher. Sure I want an actual Tesla screen or iPad instead but that wouldn't fit seamlessly with my car nor would the reverse camera work
