Glad to see you got it working I've had quite a few android units. And there's usually always some little glitch or defect that just bugs the hell out of you not sure how much you paid for this unit but these are the things you deal with if you don't have $1200 to drop on a pioneer or a Kenwood. So with that being said welcome to the world of Chinese head units buddy. Hope your next purchase will go alot better.

I feel you for those little glitches and defect! But then again, it's android - they are bound to have glitches! 😂 I've seen those pioneer and Kenwood headunits but somehow I wanted something really different which is why I went with this. So far loving it and it hasn't given me any problems since :)

@@LetsGo-dq4ln Hmm I've tried my friend's unit which was a smaller 2gb screen and I didn't like the experience, significantly laggier in my view. I would go for the highest specs available out there just so that it will stand the test of time. Even with my 4GB, it's just borderline satisfactory for me

I've had many 1k+ headunits and all of these android headunits are way better, even the $100.00 units sound better and I always run my systems with Highend amplifiers and epicenters and more and WOW !! These androids are unbelievably AWESOME !!!

What about the sound? It is an acceptable quality sound or that system uses low quality amplifiers? Thanks for your videos!! ;)

In my opinion, it really has more to do with the sound setup of your car. On my VW it sounds great (to me) but I've tried it on other cars, it does sound different. But then again, I'm not an expert in audio so I can't say for sure 😅

Hi i bought the headunit from the same seller you did a bit ago and what a coincidence that we both ran into same issue with receiving the wrong version to having the system brick, i had mine shipped back to have the board replaced however i lost access to carplay and the seller carbar is now ignoring all of my questions regarding my problems, did you run into the same issue with zlink carplay after formatting your headunit? happy to see you got your headunit working after that and nice videos!

Hey man sorry you had to go through the same experience I did. I haven't encountered any problem with zlink but then again I don't use that app at all so I'm not too familiar with it too. Have you tried resetting the unit?

@@ShawnLoong Yea no worries I tried resetting the unit and reinstalling the device several times but no luck. I'll stick to using a car launcher for now

Hello. I was looking for videos before buying this car stereo. if you can help me by giving me some information. I have a Golf like yours. do the steering wheel controls work? Can the widget screen be customized? G-force indicators are working or is a static image. thanks and congratulations for the video.

Steering wheel controls work, check out my other videos. g force indicators are working but really buggy, as good as useless tbh

I don't think you applied any thermal paste on the chip before installing the heat sink back on
