Thank you again, Lyndon. I have to comment again on your excellent way of teaching imrov. You keep it simple and explain clearly the concept you are going after in each video. After decades away from playing piano or guitar I decided to pick up the sax 3 years ago and improv was high on my list of skills. I get the concept but couldn’t get it buried in my grey matter. I have some excellent improv courses but I end up putting them down after awhile out of frustration so I haven’t really progressed anywhere. When I watch your videos something clicks and I just get it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Do you offer Zoom lessons?

Very useful. Not sure if I totally understand the blues scale vs the chord progression. Will a D blues scale cover everything or do I still need to switch to the blues scales of the other keys? But great to listen to your enthusiasm and wisdom.

Really enjoying playing with this video. Quick question - first run through you start D F# A B for the D7 chord. Then C B A F# for the G7. Why the F# not F as G7 doesn't have an F# ? Sorry been bothering me 🙂 Keep up the great videos. GeorgeG.
