I've always like going to Zoos which is how I've got into animals and it's good that we have these Zoos that helps with the conservation of endangered species and educating others (providing that they look after their animals well of course). I hope to visit these Zoos if I ever go to the United States. Europe have many good Zoos too including Chester Zoo and Loro Parque.

I definetely agree about San Diego and Henry Doorly being the top two. I personally put San Diego in the number one spot because the transitions between exhibits are so incredibly seamless and because of all of the additional features at the zoo. But they are close. And I will acknowledge that the Kingdoms of the Night and Lied Jungle exhibits are better than any other exhibits I've ever visited.

You covered some of the largest and most popular zoos in the US - but there are a number of small(er) zoos (or more properly collections?) that are more than up to standard and very popular, scattered around the country, such as the zoo in Central Park, NY, the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, etc. BTW - love this channel and look forward to each video! Woodland Park zoo in Seattle WA is my local zoo and had maybe still has a section called northwest trail were the did the landscaping so well that wild bald eagles decided it was a perfect place to nest.
