It's definitely nice to have options! What's interesting to me is after 2 weeks of being a strict carnivore, one meal a day of beef and butter and only water to drink, I actually stopped craving carbs, sugar and junk. I only craved meat and still do! It's been since August 7th 2023, zero cheating and so far I've lost 78 pounds! I'm only 2 pounds away from my goal weight. I remember what foods from the American Standard diet taste like, but I no longer desire them! It's been a real eye opening experience! Carnivore 4 life baby!❤

tip for getting those poached eggs to stay nice & tight: drop your egg(s) into a bowl with water and vinegar, let sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes until the white starts to turn opaque, start your water simmering, then carefully lift the firmed up egg on a spoon and gently place into the water to cook; you'll get a nice, neat little poached egg without the whites dissipating into the cooking water

Just keep ghee for cooking. The milk fat is removed and raises the smoke point by almost double so you can cook on high or medium high without burning. Pick up a Danish dough whisk. It works really well and because it’s flat, nothing gets trapped. Strain and save all bacon grease! That’s liquid gold for flavor.

Watching the crepes recipe: Erythritol is very, very bad for the gut and responsible for messing up my tummy -- bad stuff. I offer an alternative that is much better, for your consideration. Monk Fruit (not the kind you buy in the grocery store as it has bad stuff added), Monk fruit is really sweet like sugar and you can bet a big bag of pure Monk Fruit from "Bulk Supplements" -- it is a life saver and won't screw up your tum tum!

So the "McMuffin", now I love your biscuit recipe, I have used it A Lot since I watched your steak taco video. Love it. However they are heavy batter, also the more panko the more salty it is etc. I did thin it with water (as the bone broth I make would add way to much salt) but the texture was not to my liking (more eggy). They taste great but too salty, so I will see if I can find some pork panko without the salt (I am using the Porking Good ones currently). Oh... and stupid me tried using a tortilla press as you know how unmanageable these can be to make. Umm.. won't do that again. Adding water helped make them spread but texture was off. But the recipes and ideas are great, keep them up!

How to have leftover bacon on hand: go to a breakfast restaurant that has THICK bacon. Order 6 orders (or however much you desire); request them to be cooked medium, and to be put into one container. If they do catering they will have larger disposable aluminum pans on hand. As soon as the bacon cools down a bit, lay out paper towels-two layers on the bottom-and lay out the bacon on a counter, not overlapping. Once that’s almost full, lay down another section of paper towels and finish laying down the rest of the bacon. Cover with one more layer of paper towels. Roll up tightly, and wedge into a gallon freezer bag. If the grease in the pan seems good, you can save and use that later. If there are children, especially teenaged boys, this will not work. It may be the most expensive way of obtaining your bacon, but it means you have it on hand to use as an ingredient in Southern style greens, in salads, German potato salad, spinach salad, soups, Hemingway potatoes, whatever. And you didn’t have to handle raw bacon. There’s just two of us, so this works well. I heat up three strips for my husband’s breakfast, and still have plenty of “leftover” bacon on hand. Lazy? At 73, I don’t call it that. I call it a time saver.
