All very nice. I painted our bedroom furniture and stenciled on roses 26 years ago. It still looks beautiful. All our kids are grow, and I am looking for inspiration on painting my son's old room and the old furniture he had.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pieces with us. I loved them all. I really liked that Shutter Grey. I haven't used milk paint yet. Unfortunately, around my area people like plain white. I once listed about seven pieces, and the one I got inquiries about were the off white night stands!

The Shutter Gray is one of my favorite colors! I love milk paint on really old pieces or oak pieces, I think it just fits the style of the piece so well. And I hear ya on people loving white!

I love the painted furniture look! My husband is a woodworker and freaks out when I want to cover up natural wood with paint. He made a huge deal out of me painting my ugly 1980's dark fake wood kitchen cabinets. I have an old 1800's dresser in garage that I am going to paint. I love the dark purple with the roses! I think I might paint the dresser a bright turquoise!!!! I better get my husband some heart medication :)

Does Fusion Mineral Paint work well on a book case?

Absolutely! For darker colors, you may consider adding a topcoat (I like using a light coat of the Fusion Beeswax Finish) just to add a bit more sheen. That way you will see much fewer fingerprint, dust marks, and scuffs from sliding books on and off. Dark, matte paint tends to show a lot more of that than a dark paint with a glossier finish
