It's still somewhat comic book valid. Planet busters fight in the Dragonball world all the time. They release blast that could reduce any planet to rubble all the time. But, they are careful to control the range of those blasts. Most of them need a planet for the atmosphere. For example, Frieza and Buu destroy planets left and right because they don't need to breath. So, Sentry could control those blasts to keep from destroying the planet just like Superman has to do. World-Breaker Hulk is not so skilled given that rage and adrenaline fuel his power. Plus, the power of a million Suns is comic book exaggerations. How does anyone even measure such a feat?

Kyle Rainer as White Lantern. Also Kyle during the brief time that he had the power of the entire Green Lantern Corps and the power of the entity of will Ion. That story line was appropriately called "The right hand of God". During which he was so strong that while sitting in a meeting with the rest of the Justice League about an alien armada, he dealt with them by sending a clone to said armada and took the entire thing to #Slamtown. He then spoke up and told the team that the armada was no longer a threat, much to everyone's confusion. In the end he was convinced to return the power by the one and only man of steel by saying that "we can't live their lives for them only try and protect them". Basically he was scared that he was going to be too strong to deal with so Superman did his best Batman impersonation. Next we have the Phantom Stranger who for the longest time just had any power that was needed to fix the situation. Recently it was reconed that he is Judas Iscariot, yeah that one who done did that whole thing about selling out Jesus and was cursed by a magical council to wander the Earth until he pays for his crimes....comics are stupid sometimes. He also gets his orders now from a dog who as it turns out is God's way of speaking to the Stranger....comics are stupid. That also brings up my next character though... God. That's right the G, O single D is actually a character in modern DC comics who frequently likes to pop in for a chat about the weather or how he still believes in humanity. Side note did I mention that he does this all while disguised as a dog...dog, God do ya get it? Now they tend to not go full on religious by calling him the Presence which is short for the Presence of God but they ain't fooling nobody. Oh and if you were wondering what kind of dog usually a Yorkie. Now I can't mention the last guy without bringing up the Spectre who just so happens to have the job of Gods Spirit of Vengeance. On more than one occasion the Spectre has used his near immeasurable powers to pull two converging realities apart. Now if that sounds more mental than if should just remember it was the 70's and 80's where the comic writers said 'rules, we don't need no stinking rules'. Even now with his powers dialed back everyone avoids him like the plague. So much so that consummate hard ass John Constantine nearly peed on himself when realizing that the Spectre was near. Are there more? Of course there are but my point here is that while Superman was once the alpha and omega for superheroes that era is no more.

I don't think Rogue could do it... it depends on the superman though and the kind of fight. A lot of the fights Superman is in he is not trying to kill his opponents so we probably only ever see him against people trying to kill him while he is holding back. With that said hero power scaling is harsh so like MM gets knocked down by a laser in one panel and tanks it in the next. Supermans normal vision is a bit wonky in certain versions but at least in the movie he displayed a feat that WW couldn't which is keeping up with the Flash. With the above said it might be fair to say he had no intention of killing Flash just the same way he didn't kill batman. Phoenix maybe... it depends on the version of superman... It also comes down to something quirky. Can phoenix give off the radiation of a red sun or yellow sun? If neither then it would probably be a close fight again depending on the version of superman. Movie Phoenix vs Movie superman though would also be very close.

most of y'all proally never read the real comics.. half this list is false, if you "have" to use the word kryptonite as. a means to defeat superman in ya argument, you honestly don't know shit at all. everyone on the list. is based on a character of choice fighting to the death with no knowledge of a person's weakness, so how can you use or form kryptonite. can't say mind reading becuz the famous martian struggled countless times to read his mind..he even defeated a few villains with kryptonite in his system or around him.. can't use space, or black hole.. superman can live in space without oxygen for days..(unless its a year-long fight), best bet would be magic to an extent.. its like stepping on a nail wit bare feet, it hurts like shit for a while until you can handle the pain or find a way to get rid of it, but "it won't kill you". and to make more interesting, superman has sed countless times that he never uses his full strength bcuz he "could kill" so if you add a (no-holds barred) superman on the list I'd cut da list down to maybe 4 or 5.. including *Batman and Doomsday, its skeptical with darkseid bcuz he basically allows superman to get stronger with each fight the harder he hits. I never been able to use my full strength because what I can do or who I will hurt, but you can take it can you.?? (Superman quote) PS. Isengard Naruto is easily fast enough to screw around with Superman outside of his most ridiculous forms (SMP one million, cosmic armour, golden age) and Saitama broke his limiter. Superman is a limit pusher, Saitama is a limit breaker, big difference. Both of them could challenge and beat new 52 Superman and since Saitama's power is limitless[?] he might be well above that.
