I agree he is rich. But, why should he give 12CR to wife for few months of marriage? It is his hard earned money. 12CR is huge wealth. What message supreme court giving to public - "marry a rich guy, leave him in 2 months, file false cases against him, we as supreme court assure you alimony to loot husband". Ridiculous.

Sir if wife is working then can dhe get alimony instead of maintenance for being in marriage for 22 yrs and sacrifice career for child birth child raising and husband's growth

The contents of your talk are clear. But alimony calculation seems unscientific. If wife is educated and can sustain on her own what is the logic for granting huge alimony. It is very difficult to approach SC for common people in our country.
