hey lad been watching a while now and im still struggling with consistency at about a 50 avg after 7 months of playing but cant seem to make that jump to the 60-70 range any pointers would be appreciated. great video as always

It's probably a technique issue. I'd have to see the throw, but I can definitely help. :)

@@Straightdarts I'm also a beginner who stopped to make progress and what I'm doing now is to stop throwing on segments but practice my technique by covering the board with a thin cloth and then throwing lines on the board with 3 or 6 darts. try to throw a horizontal, diagonal or vertical line and try to throw them at similar spacing (maybe around 5-10 cm). focus on getting those lines looking cleaner over time, first it will be terrible but after some time it gets better. that helps focusing on technique and feel because it reduces the pressure of having to hit a field which can make your throw a little hesistant and cause technique to break down because you focus on the goal and not the process and get anxious. you can also try to throw other shapes like a rectangle or a circle once you can do the straight lines.

Been using these since I changed style due to athritis. They are customs based on James wads dart in 22g with razor grip. :) I'm doing one last run of my original stage 1 darts witha bull noise, identical to the set I started the channel with and then a new straight barrel version. 22g 52mm and all smooth in the front and center with a huge amout of grip at the back. :)

@@Straightdarts Can't wait for those! I seem to have developed dartitis in the last few months where I pause far too long on the pull back so I'm trying a much shorter pull back like Chris Dobey, it seems to be working but I've not been playing much due to the dartitis
