If that doesn't tell you much Henry is respected in the league and how dynamic he is nothing will. He missed over half the games yet still got ranked #12! Coming off of a 2,000 yard season not only is a sharp decline expected it is downright a basic guarantee. Most of the 8 men to ever do it never were the same again following theirs. So what did Henry do following his? Especially since many people were already trying to replace him at #1 because of his age and carries. Oh he just was on pace to not only be the only guy ever to do it twice, even better was that it was in back to back seasons. At the time of his injury (almost halfway through the season) he already had nearly 1,000 yards and was not only on pace for back to back 2,000 yard seasons (You just have to stop for a second thinking about that lol) but was on track to smash the all time record held by E. Dickerson. It took a full 3 weeks before another back caught him in rushing yards and despite missing more games than he played he still finished Top 10! After the injury it seemed like everyone was already writing him off and closing the book on his reign. I don't think most of those people actually watch many of his games had they they would have never dreamed of counting him out. Afterall when your the biggest and fastest at your position you're probably going to do pretty well. There aren't very many players for whom entire offenses or defenses are completely focused on stopping one player. Facing more loaded boxes than any other back because everyone in the stadium knows who's getting the ball and he still is leading the league. HOF and likely to go down as best back ever (if he sticks around a little while longer.

People are too busy fighting about Henry vs Taylor, but I think it's so cool that we have both. Not only that, they're very similar mirrors of each other. Henry is, at his core, a big strong runner who happens to be WAY faster than a guy of that size has any right to be. Taylor is, at his core, a speedy track runner who happens to be WAY bigger and stronger than a guy of that speed has any right to be. Both of them are dominant because they can shrug through weak tackle attempts and are threats to house it any time they touch the ball. Both of them are absolute freaks. Fighting over who is 1A and 1B is a waste of time and breath. They're both great, just grab the popcorn and enjoy.
