Emeralds aren't beginner snakes, nor do most of them enjoy too much handling. If you're looking for a constrictor to spoil and bond with, I'd suggest balls or red tails.
@levistokes39604 жыл бұрын
Julian Davis they are so amazing. I just got my female ball python a couple months ago. She’s still young and just the regular morph but she’s beautiful. I want to get an emerald tree boa for my next snake though.

OMG! What an incredibly gorgeious snake! This is the first time I've seen one. I saw a baby in another channel's video, and they described how the adult turns green, but they left the description of the vivid or bright white markings that set off the green. How big do they both get? Do they stay relatively small, as compared to the main boas? How long do they live? I love their housing with the humidity and mists.

What tends to be more docile ETBs or GTPs. Obviously I know they both should rarely be handled. And I'm pretty sure you've spent Alot of time into yours to get them used to you and so docile. But which one usually tends to be a little more tame?
@ryanpollard80177 жыл бұрын
Amazon basin emerald tree boas are probably the tamest same with sorong and aru green tree pythons. But there is always exceptions. Also it all depends on the particular animal you could have a really tame one or the meanest one ever it depends on their feeding response and how you treat them.
@JWill00977 жыл бұрын
Y33T M3RK thanks!
@jamessmith655366 жыл бұрын
But overall, when comparing both to the other snakes, they are generally have the same overall characteristics (appearance, biology, and behaviour) than other pet snakes.
@georgejones50195 жыл бұрын
Green Tree Pythons seem to be the most bite-prone of the python breeds. Even experienced owners/handlers are wary of them.
@Asuraskeye3 жыл бұрын
You producing them??
@terratechnic61827 жыл бұрын
I'm a collector myself (5 royal pythons, 1 columbian boa, and 3 reticulated pythons) However I have been trying without success to find a amazon basin etb. Where did you get yours at and do you know of any current sellers of them?
@ryanpollard80177 жыл бұрын
If you have facebook join the amazon basin emerald tree boa group and on facebook search up ed Marino he will either have some for sale or know somebody with some for sale. But just letting you know they start at around $1800 and are normally around $3000. And northern or normal emerald tree boas are $450-$700 captive bred. And for northern emerald tree boas only BUY CAPTIVE BRED unless you want a waste of $350 and a dead emerald tree boa. So buy captive bred not wild caught even if it looks fine it isn't and if it is healthy it could easily become ill and die so do a ton of research like I did and talk to breeders.
@TheFishGuy868 жыл бұрын
How often are you feeding these guys? weekly? or every 10-14 days? Thanks
@ambrishcr78477 жыл бұрын
Dude your collection is awesome where do u get these snakes dude?
@919Motorsports7 жыл бұрын
Hey Josh, Do you think a captive bred GTP is gonna be a hardier snake? I have a wild caught Biak, that I bought with a RI and pinworms. Or all of them Susceptible to these issues?
@ryanpollard80177 жыл бұрын
919Motorsports much hardier buy from Ian Bessel on Facebook or SJreptiles on instagram. Best quality out there but very expensive since they’re like 10th generation USCBB they’re $800-1300 but it’s worth it
