Here are the others including that loss 2004: Getting crushed by Indianapolis in Week 17 plus Ray Lewis injuring his wrist and missing the playoffs after an 8-3 start. 2007: Starting 5-2 and losing 9 straight to end the year thus ending Brian Billick's tenure. 2013: Getting destroyed by the Patriots and Bengals in Weeks 16 and 17, which including Taylor Mays breaking Ray Rice's collarbone, and Joe Flacco getting mauled by Vince Wilfork. 2015: 5-5 record only to lose 6 in a row after Flacco tore his ACL. 2016: The Immaculate Extension, which they blew a 10 point lead in the 4th Quarter and a division title to the Steelers. 2017: Losing to the Steelers in Week 16 thanks to 2 fumbles in the final 3 minutes and another blown lead, plus the 4th and 12 against Cincinnati the following week. 2021: 8-3 start only for injuries, a hard schedule and bitter defeats to kick in, thus resulting in 6 straight losses.

Idk why everyone thinks the time out changed the game. The Raiders were going to run either way and Staley called the time out to get better run D players on field. What lost us the game is even with the best players against the run out they couldnt stop them. If they didnt call the time out the Raiders would have still ran and if they made the first down would have called time out and kicked the field goal anyways. There is no way the Raiders were going to just kneel it on 3rd down as they were in shotgun formation with the RB next to Carr.

With the 1986 Bengals, that's not the whole story. They didn't get officially eliminated until the next night, when the Pats beat the Dolphins on Monday Night Football. If the Dolphins would have won, NE would have been eliminated, the Jets would have won the East on a tie-breaker, and the Bengals would have been going to KC (they lost to them that year) for the WC game. Also, I would include the 1981 and 85 Broncos: In 1981, the Broncos had a chance to wrap up the West. In Week 15, they beat the Seahawks, but the Bucs couldn't beat SD at home, so the Broncos had to win at Soldier Field the next week against a 6-10 Bears team. They lost, 35-24, and they had to hope for a SD loss to Oakland on MNF. The Chargers won, 21-10, clinching the West for the third straight year, and eliminating the Broncos from the playoffs on tie-breakers. In 1985, the Broncos beat Seattle on Friday Night, and had to hope for Sunday losses by either the Jets or the Pats. Unfortunately for Denver, both teams won, and eliminated the Broncos due to a tie-breaker.

2007 Cleveland Browns were a juggernaut on offense, won double digit games for the first time since being "the new Browns" and missed out on a bunch of tie breakers. Not to mention they should have won the week 13 game vs. Arizona when Kellen Winslow was pushed out of the endzone while making the game winning catch (and he still got one foot down), but that was the year they changed the rule that no matter what, even with a collision, you needed two feet. @@jcyusuf if you say so. Stopping the clock to give the other team more time to beat you makes a TON of sense. 🙄 of course you won’t be able to answer why they needed to take that time out if the Raiders were…according to your logic…going to try a field goal no matter what… So you take a time out and give them a chance to get even closer rather than running the clock down as much as you can because you know that the only chance you have to make the playoffs is a tie? I saw you try and justify it saying they were bringing another guy in. Fact is the Chargers took the TO with 4 seconds left on the play clock. Oh and by the way it was also their final time out… Meaning they didn’t even have a chance to try and ice the kicker… But please explain to us how it was this amazing coaching decision that is just misunderstood… You know because he wanted to bring in somebody to stop the run and they gave up a 10 yard run after making it an even stupider decision. You can try and justify it all you want because everything the chargers do is perfect and the whole world is against you but this is the whole world talking right now to tell you that’s only in your head. Literally the only chance that they had to make the playoffs at that point was to let the clock run down as quickly as possible. No matter how you justify it. Too bad the bulk of football is played in the five months before January… I love how ravens called in January Joe because of that one year where you had a good year… Not exactly the stuff of legends…

I can’t imagine being delusional enough to be like man if we could just get into the playoffs the January Joe is going to show up… Too bad he plays like shit the entire year until January though… You know that one January where he played good that’s why I call him January Joe…

The Giants last year. Had a shocking season and the eagles only had to beat the WFT and didnt

Oh what a sad state of affairs it is for Giants fans when they’re worried that their 6-10 team didn’t make the playoffs because another team didn’t win for them… That’s fucking side hoe energy

Against the Rams im not saying its possible but Cincys o-line isnt the best and considering you have Aaron Donald and Von Miller on defense isnt gonna be easy and then you have offense with Cooper Kupp and OBJ and possibly Tyler Higbee if his knee heals up in time and also didnt forget Jalen Ramsay or Nick Scott who possibly will be guarding Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Highins Power For Bengals: Joe Burrow Ja'Marr Chase Tee Higgins C. J. Uzomah (uncertain) Power for Rams: Matthew Stafford Cooper Kupp Odell Beckham Jr. Tyler Higbee (uncertain) Cam Akers (uncertain) Jalen Ramsay Nick Scott Aaron Donald Von Miller
