Thank you 🥺 I’m so glad that I found your channel and these follow along videos. Whenever I stop using dilators my vaginismus always comes back and it’s very frustrating. I don’t want to have to always use the dilator daily but I’m happy to do stretches everyday instead. So thank you 💕❤️

Hey, I I'm also facing same problem whenever my boyfriend tries to insert his penis it cannot go inside me, it feels like a wall is there and also I've lost my virginity too but now It cannot go inside me, can you suggest something

I’m experiencing the same thing😭 I can’t insert tampons and I can’t do anything with my boyfriend. I’m thinking it’s vaginismus. I’m glad you’ve had luck with these exercises, I’m going to practice daily and see what happens

I'm a man with elimination difficulties and this sequence helped my pelvic organs immensely! It felt as though everything was leading up to the adductor and spinal twist stretches at the end so those could really hit home. Incredible relief, and the pacing felt just right. Thanks so much.

I've just discovered your video. I've been reading all these comments on how they have improved their vaginal health. It actually made me cry that there is hope. I'm uk I've been going around in circles with nhs. I'm still waiting to see if I can see a PFPT. I will be keeping up with these exercises. My issue is mainly narrow introitus I do need to see a PT to make sure I'm breathing correctly and using dialators correctly. Thank you for sharing you're a god send for us ladies 💕

I have vaginismus and it makes me feel so unworthy for some reason. It makes me sad. I can’t even insert the smallest thing without it hurting so bad. So that is why I’m here now. :(

I have an 8 week course that offers some structured exercises that can help, best combined with physiotherapy and some counseling. Its so important to deal with it now, you will get past it 🌸

@@TheFlowerEmpowered I doubt if I have Vaginismus. I didn't let the gyneo examine. She asked me to relax a lot. We are having trouble penetrating. Not even once.. It's going to be 6years of marriage life. Finding it difficult to handle. Would you share details about your 8weeks course? How can I enroll?

I had the exact same thing, where trying to insert anything at all hurt so much. I was certain I would never be able to have sex, but with lots of practice and trust in my body and my partner I'm now able to, so you will too, no matter how long it takes. it feels absolutely impossible for a long time, I know, but I promise quick improvement can and will happen ❤️❤️

@@elshalineognilla9994 Probably this is good for the better functioning of pelvic floor muscle. Feel to urinate is basically a brain function, pelvic floor muscle is functioning with the feelings of brain and sense of bladder pelvic region.

Glad you found it helpful! As your pregnancy progresses, your body will produce more relaxin hormone which allows connective tissues and expand. You should use supports and don’t go to end range in your joints in those later stages so as not to overstretch 🩷

Hi, I've undiagnosed pelvic floor dysfunction and it's extremely difficult to insert a finger. It pains and leaves a burning sensation. It has been a week or two doing a bunch of your exercise videos. I hope to progress faster. Reading all these comments really helps and I'm glad that I'm not alone here. I'd love to have more tips with how I can progress further.

Generally in Yoga, we inhale up and exhale down. It's a little less relevant in this style of gentle yoga. You should move gently, listening to your body and breathing calmly in a way that feels good for you. Hope that helps!

I ended up getting an IUD a couple months ago but ended up getting it under sedation due to how painful it was for me to insert even a finger or a tampon. Once I woke up from the procedure my gyne told me I REACTED WHILE UNDER! my body twitched when he tried to use the speculum and I have zero memory of it. He then diagnosed me with this and I’ve just been even more embarrassed since finding out since I can’t do simple things lot of other women can do with no problem, like inserting a tampon or even just putting a finger up there. I went to my regular doctor a couple weeks ago for a string check and couldn’t even get her to stick a finger in there with out pain. I was so embarrassed and she asked if I wanted to be referred to pelvic floor therapy but I felt since I’m so young and haven’t even been in an intimate relationship I didn’t need it. But over the past weeks I’ve just been dwindling on what if I needed my iud instantly removed? What am I gonna do when it needs to be removed? What am I gonna do IF I end up in an intimate relationship? So I of course went to KZbin LOL. I’m hoping to try these out and hopefully be able to at least get a pelvic exam done. I’m also hoping if I start to get results my anxiety about anything being inserted will go down a lot allowing me to actually be successful in the first place. Sorry for the rant I’m just stuck in this huge thought and needed to let it out.

It’s not unusual for muscles to contract during surgery. This is why generally they use muscle relaxants in order to prevent the contactions during surgery. However, as your procedure was simply for fitting an IUD and you weren’t yet diagnosed with vaginismus, they wouldn’t have expected to need muscle relaxants to block involuntary contractions. (Vaginismus is a condition of involuntary contractions). Pelvic floor physiotherapy should help a lot, especially given that the contraction of the pelvic floor is also impacted by other muscles so you likely have an imbalance in other muscles that contributes to the vaginismus response. A good pelvic floor physio won’t just look at your pelvic floor but will asses your body for contributing factors. These kinds of exercises can also help a lot as they focus not just on the pelvic floor but also on other muscle groups that contribute. You will likely also need to do dilation, and to some therapy to work on the fear aspect of the condition. i’ve been suffering with vaginsmus for i don’t even know how long but i’ve been doing sacral chakra yoga cus that’s apart of sex n sexual blockage i’ve been doing that and yoga that’s specified for vaginismus i haven’t been doing it for a long time maybe a week or two? n it’s gotten so much better but i’ve also been using my fingers as dilators my vaginismus has gotten so much better it’s not completely gone but it’s getting better faster than i thought it would

I am married for two years trying so desperately to have a child yet experiencing most painful intercourse. Infact i just have sex in hope to conceive. Its so sad i felt alone all this time. I didn't know what was wrong untill few minutes ago when this video just poped up about this condition and it felt so good to finally know what's wrong but at the same time i am overwhelmed to know it is the reason one could not conceive. It’s not possible to say- you really need to get checked by doctor and physio in order to know what is contributing to your issue, but your chances may improve when you are pain free as your nervous system is likely on high stress with the given situation.

The exercises help with pelvic gloomy relaxation, which can make it easier to dilate. It very much depends on what is triggering the hypertonicity. For example, if tension on your low back or glutes are contributing to pelvic floor hypertonicity then you may see very fast results. Great questions. Hypertonic pelvic floor is tightness of the pelvic floor. Vaginismus is an involuntary contraction in response to attempted penetration - not the same as hypertonicity but you can have vaginismus and hypertonicity. Vulvodynia means pain around the vulva. Vulva meaning external portion of the female genitals and dynia meaning pain. Vestibulodynia is pain in the vestibule (part of the glands of the vulva). You could try some of the other relaxation videos where you spend a little longer in the poses as this can help to increase the amount you can relax. Let me know if that helps

I'm suspecting I have vaginismus. Can't even insert my finger. I'll try doing this exercise everyday and share the result. Wish me luck Edit: I've only tried this exercise once and it definetely helped! Before doing this exercise, everytime I inserted my middle finger I only could insert the tip of my finger and it would leave a burning sensation. I couldn't go further because the muscle was really tensed and it became painful. But now I can insert 2/3 of my fingers (yes, two fingers) and there's no burning sensation anymore. Muscle feels much more relaxed. I'll keep doing this exercise. Thank you so much for helping me.

It can be helpful to relax the pelvic floor muscles. You could also try a breathing technique where you inhale deeply for a count of 4 and exhale slowly for a count of 8 as this activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest mode) which can help with further relaxation during your exam.

I have really tight pelvic floor muscles due to a permanent limp. Penetration became so much easier with regular streches like these, plus manual stretching the area with lube ahead of time. I was told to think of dial of a clock. Stretch your internal muscles at 2,3,4 and 8,9,10. It stings a bit at first if you are really tight, but then the muscles relax and the speculum will not feel like it is forcing things open.

It depends on the cause of the issues. With cystitis, exercises can sometimes create further irritation so you will may need to rest. Very important ti go to your doctor and get assessed to see what is triggering the issues as it’s not always a pelvic floor problem. This exercise sequence is specifically to help with gentle relaxation of the pelvic floor 🌸

Pelvic floor relaxation exercises can be helpful for vulvodynia, but do listen to your body. If you feel any pose is triggering of symptoms, you should skip that pose 🌸

They shouldn't, but if you are experiencing low back spasms, you may have some hypertonicity in the muscles around your low back or some weakness in your core muscles. You should see your physiotherapist for an assessment. They can guide you as to which exercises you should practice and which you should avoid based on your specific body.

Pelvic floor exercises can help with erectile distinction but do make sure that you also get checked by doctor to ensure there isn’t an underlying cause. If it’s pelvic floor related, you should practice both relaxation exercises and strengthening. Relaxation first for a week or two. That might resolve things, if not, add in strengthening too (and keep relaxation going)

No, this video is for relaxation. Relaxation can help with strengthening if the pelvic flit is hypertonic (tight) but these exercises are not considered to be strengthening exercises. When practicing any style of Yoga during pregnancy, you should make adaptations to the poses to accommodate the bump and to prevent overstretching of ligaments as your body is producing relaxin, a hormone that relaxes ligaments to make delivery easier. I would suggest you attend a prenatal yoga class if you can. Whereas I have trained in prenatal yoga, it’s not possible to guide you without seeing you personally, so it really is best if you find someone local. Sorry!

hey, is vaginismus curable at home? i have just recently moved to america, i have no insurance and unfortunately due to my age i can’t get treatment with out an adult. i just feel so alone, i’m unsure if i even have vaginismus… i’ve tried penetration with my boyfriend, but no luck:( ive read somewhere that it could be due to stress or maybe i just wasn’t ready, but i’ve tried multiple times even on my own time with no luck. i have been diagnosed with endometriosis and i know that might be a cause of painful penetration too.. regardless of whether i do have this condition or not, thank you for bringing light to this topic! i’m sure you’ve made so many women, including me, feel not so alone in this frustrating process

Hello, i'm currently incorporating these relaxation steps on a daily basis (if not, on alternate days). This may sound a lil weird (sorry), but is it normal to "fart" after these workouts cos this happened for me. Is that in any way a sign that my pelvic muscles relaxing?😅 Also do you have any case study of succesful cases where they can have penetrative sex and how soon after these exercises?

Thats not a strange question at all! The positions can stimulate movement within the abdominal space, which can lead to the release of gas from the rectum or in some cases air from the vaginal passage. The air can get drawn in to the vagina in some positions (just physics!). Some people get very fast results from these exercises - which you will see if you read through the comments. For some, dilation and other practices are needed. I do have a course for overcoming vaginismus and have recently received a message to say that pain free sex was achieved after just 3 weeks of practice. Each body is different so it’s best to work with your own body, listen to your body and stay consistent 🌸😊

Some of them, yes, but it’s best to adapt the poses due to the increase in the hormone relaxin during pregnancy. Have you been doing prenatal yoga? Your prenatal yoga teacher can suggest adaptations based on your stage of pregnancy

This is a great question, and actually, there is little scientific evidence that the g-spot actually exists. The clitoris is the equivalent of the head of the penis - it’s where all the nerves are. There are only a small percentage of women who feel internal pleasure without clitoral stimulation. With clitoral stimulation, penetration tends to be more pleasurable and the chances of having an “internal” orgasm are definitely increased, but orgasm with penetration or internal stimulation without external stimulation of the clitoris is not common. It’s actually pretty normal to have emotional release when practicing this type of yoga. In yoga we sat that you hold “issues in your tissues”. Then next time you are in the stressful or worrying situation, bring your awareness to your body and you will find where you are holding tension. It’s that tension that gets released, and along with it, the emotion that places it there. Allow yourself to left fo and cry as much as you need to. Eventually you will feel better ❤️

I really thought I was the only one who struggles inserting literally ANYTHING and experiences nothing but pain. I didn't mind not being able to insert a tampon but I can't even insert a single finger. Thankfully the man I was with during my first time was completely understanding but I was still in so much pain. So, I started this today. I also have serious pain while any insertion, specially menstrual cup. I researched about this and then I realised even inserting a finger is painful for me. I am sexually inactive so I never realised this but I am working on it because I really want to use menstrual cup. Will update when I see results. Love the video though.

A suggestion: I think it would be better to have your voices in the video telling us how to relax and how to breathe. This way we wouldn't have to look at the screen all the time. The beep sounds are a bit stressing for me too and maybe to other people as well. Keep up with the good work!

It’s actually a lot more work to create this style of video versus my usual style where I talk so I am glad to hear you like the other style. @@celeste007 I also had a couple dilators to help me progress faster but the yoga helped the most for sure :)

@@mv4242hi! So I started doing them at night before going to bed. I usually do the exercises once every day but if I have time I might do it two times a day

Yep I had to have a vaginoplasty to open things up as I hadn't had sex at all and I was 35 when it finally did happen a few years after vaginoplasty. I recommend getting it done healing time wasn't bad although I split 2 stitches due to my other health issues.

It was always painfull during intercourse. After trying this exercise twice it felt so much less pain. The burning sensation after the job is still there but less painfull thab before..... And penetration is much easier

I encountered this video more than a year ago. I was diagnosed with vulvadynia and I felt so alone with my condition. Every evening I was observing a sunset 🌅 plunging my room into darkness where I was alone with my pain which would not be relieved by anything at all. I was looking forward to these stretches every evening. Looking back now I feel this malady has transformed me from the inside out, it turned me into a stronger and more resilient person. Having recovered, I have occasional mild flare ups from time to time. I just recently remembered about these wonderful stretches again. Coming back here feels so nice! I absolutely love the music, stretches, timer and the instructor !! When I was so alone in the whole world, you gave me hope and courage to persevere and I managed to recover. Thank you million times ❤

I hear you!! We have become so accustomed to sitting in chairs that most of us lose the range of motion to do a full squat. Thankfully, the body adapts based on what we ask it to do, so if you work on some gentler versions of squat (such as wall squats), that can help a lot with restoring range of motion around ankles, knees and hips to allow a comfortable squat 😊🌸

Starting today! I don't know what I have! I've been to the gynecologist many times and I'm always treated like shit "oh the pain is normal" "you're just scared" and the last consultation "you have vaginimism" but they didn't recommend anything, it's very sad because here in Portugal it's expensive to go I went to the gynecologist and I never found one who cared about me. I have pain during intercourse, pain during my cycle, low libido, I can´t empty my bladder, every time I have an exam at the gynecologist I suffer a lot of pain :C Did this exercise today for the first time, I feel so relax and it's very easy to do on my daily routine! Going to do everyday for one month and I will tell you feedback! Thanks for the good work and helping many people! I suspect I have a hipertonic pelvic floor
