How can one be driven by a strong desire for success, while simultaneously being an enlightened individual? For someone who has achieved spiritual enlightenment, Eckhart sure does seem to strongly desire having a successful business. Constantly posting to KZbin, doing seminars, writing books, blogs, etc. In my mind, desire and enlightenment are like oil and water, they don't mix. I would love for Eckhart to talk about this.

I'm going through massive shadow work today. It's funny how my worst days can bring out the best of me. The most important quote to me from this is: "You think you are tired of the world, tired of living, tired of... It's a misperception. What you are really tired of is the self and the world that it creates outside. Same old thoughts, same complaints etc." This hit the nail right on the head. My old self keeps holding on in bad habits and routines and today I broke down in tears as I tore it away. I already feel that this will benefit me greatly. I re-evaluated it. I see that it's my inner/higher self that is begging for change today. I kept opposing and resisting for so long and now I have to surrender. I love you all so much.

I am very aware that all there ever is, is the present moment. I am also very aware that every moment dissolves and time goes on. But I am also pretty aware of my memories which do not dissolve. Thus I remember my whole life thus far; not in every single detail but in decades. So I remember most of my life from one years old to ten years old and from ten to twenty and so forth. What good would my life be if I couldn't remember the bad and good times that I had lived in each moment. My memories come from and yet remains within the One Source. What good would it be if we forgot Eckharts teachings after watching his seminars and his videos. Therefore our memories are the continuing accumulation of us living the experience of life on Earth, and to know this is by living in the present moment of absolute isness. We cannot get tired of ourself by living this way.
