I loved the demo as a kid too. I never could get past the part with the train because I couldn't figure out where to go. Never got the full version, but 25 years later I now just re-discovered this on Ps Plus Premium. About to dive in!

The first time I held to taser too long and the guy burst into flames I was like “Whaaaaa?!”…After that I used it in the complete opposite as it was designed, just burning enemies to a crisp 😂

I remember this game was one of the last great games ever released for PS1. The auto-targeting was ingenious feature. This game was the main reason why I kept my PS1 at hand after switching to PS2 and XBOX.

You could take out your taser and taser people and if you went to the weapons menu and selected a new weapon all while still holding the aim and fire buttons you could also shoot the enemy while tasering him to death on fire...Lord I spent hours at it😂😂

My dad and uncle used to play this all the time when I was a 4 year old. They would let me run around and shoot the bad guys when they finished. I always loved the running animation and if they ever decide to remake this game, I hope they keep that animation. It makes you feel like you're in an action movie and gunning down all the bad guys.

Ahhhhh back when video games had a soul. This was one of the best game I ever played on ps1. it was action packed, a solid story line full of classic situations, stealth missions and boss fights. I heard Sony turned down the remake proposal early this year 😞. At least we have this release. We need titles like this again! And also bust a move 3 😆 Ps: stun gun was OP

Syphon Filter 1, 2 and 3 are superb games, and I'd absolutely love remakes, for all three of them. The first game is closest to my heart, but the second game is my favourite 👌🏻. Such great games, that were ahead of their time. Please; we need remakes; or at the very least, remasters.

Y'all don't know how much this game meant to me. Being from the DMV, this was the first video game ever to feature the DC Metro in it. This is why I really embraced this game. Love seeing my hometown in a video game. Fun Fact: The Georgia-Ave Petworth Subway Station that the subway level was based on wasn't even open yet at the time of the game's release.

I remember playing this game numerous times on my demo disc until my Aunt decided to buy it for me against my parents wishes lol She just pulled into the driveway, handed it to me at the front door, and I zoomed away to my room to play. This is so sad, all these years I never knew you could go inside that building in the first place, Ithought the game was just the shooting outside the streets. I spent days and days playing there killing the guys jumping in and eventually die, I never understood why they kept coming back I just kept shooting. Now I feel really stupid.
