There needs to be a delineation of the "appearance of high value" vs "inherent high value", i.e., extrinsic vs intrinsic. Being in shape, dressing well, grooming, etc. are things any low-value man can easily do as well. It may fool the outside world of low value people, but high-value people will see thru that. Speaking eloquently and intelligently, being in charge of your life, accepting responsibility, controlling your emotions,, etc. are not so easy and take time to develop. The qualities that truly make a man high-value (the intrinsic ones) only resonate with other high-value people.

Your actual value is measured in your own attitude and self respect. You can have all the money, toys and power in the world and still be a low value knob. You don't have to be a doormat, nor should you be, but handling things with intelligence increases your value. Knowing a bit about a lot is more valuable than knowing everything about only one thing. Look the part and BE the part. Alpha always gives the best advice...listen to what he is saying.

As someone who wears their heart on their sleeve usually and is naturally authentic to a fault (autism), and still getting rid of people pleasing behaviors, I really appreciate how you talked about the topics in this video. It's clear you're have compassion and empathy especially when you talked about over complimenting, passivity, having lower standards and martyr syndrome. I hope you take this well, you kind of remind me of Chester Bennignton a bit in the best ways, he was real and authentic, wasn't afraid to say what he though t and spoke his mind, all while having a huge heart and fighting in his own ways for what he believed in and giving people hope.❤🔥 It's important to remember that masculinity can look different and not every man shows his masculine nature exactly the same, but there are fundamentals of what makes a man truly a man that cannot be forgotten, I like to think of Uncle Iroh as a great fictional example Thanks for this video and I'll check out more of your stuff, very well done!

And I think a problem with nice guys is that their parents (mainly the father) didn’t help them grow into a high value man. And that could be because of their mother. Not shaming mothers as not all mothers are this way. But some mothers will protect their son from the world when the father tries to prepare them. Why in that? Because they don’t want their nice guy son to get hurt or taken advantage of. Yet the father just wants the best for him, that way he can stand his ground and be high value. Because he’s gonna be in a world where no one cares about his feelings. And if he began simping for a girl, she could report him for stalk-ish behavior or if he hugged her and they were friends, she’s just gonna keep him as a friend. Because she doesn’t see him as a man. But a boy. He’s not husband material. Not even boyfriend material. Just a friend. So for the fathers out there, discipline your sons. If you see any sort of niceness in them. Put a stop to it. Turn your sons into men who will stand their ground instead of them letting someone else do it for them, making them look bad.

Hey don't let it get you down. This talk of "high value" and "low value" is utter nonsense and does more harm than good honestly. Everyone should be valued equally. What you need to do is be who you want to be and be confident in that, pursue your interests and do what you wanna do no matter what anyone thinks. You will automatically filter out all the people you don't want in your life and attract the people who actually like you and care about you for who *you* are. Don't let anybody tell you your value, tell yourself that you are valuable and treat yourself accordingly. You deserve respect and happiness no matter who you are, anyone who says otherwise is an insecure moron.
@edidiongmoses28898 ай бұрын
@@Niko_lai-78”everyone should be valued equally” is wishful thinking, grow up😂. It’s so funny how you go on to say the same thing that was said in the video I.e be confident, pursue your interests and do what you want to do (don’t be a people pleaser). The fact is the video is very accurate. If you act and look miserable people will see you as miserable but if you act like you have self respect and also look it, people will treat you with respect. You want to know how to act with self respect? Avoid the mistakes that were mentioned in the video
@Niko_lai-788 ай бұрын
@@edidiongmoses2889 What, so you don't think people should be valued equally? I think I've heard all I need from you then if that's the case. I fail to see the humor in me saying exactly what the video says considering that pretty much nothing I said matches the video at all. What I see in this video is a lot of one guy telling you how to change yourself in order to appeal to those around you which in my opinion is the peak of insecurity. There is validity to some things he's saying, yes. Like having boundaries and being kind with no ulterior motives and not being needy should be obvious. But all that talk about how you need to dress and look a certain way in order to gain respect is stupid. You should gain respect based on your actions and not on your outward looks. You can call me naïve or childish for believing people should all be treated with the same level of respect as yourself but I think it wise not to let go of your childish optimism in such a harsh and judgmental world. Makes life more worth living if you ask me.
@GregHealy-kz6jn7 ай бұрын
You’re using the word “act” multiple times. That says it all.
@edidiongmoses28897 ай бұрын
@@Niko_lai-78 I don’t think everyone should be valued equally, different people have different things they bring to the table and different qualities that I may or may not want to have around me. Some people can be a burden, some can be NPC’s and some can be catalysts. I want to have catalysts around me not burdens. In your first comment you said all this talk of high value and low value is utter nonsense and in this comment you’re saying that he’s right on some things so which is it. The fact of life is that there are low and high value people and rather than sulking because you’re low value, try to be high value. If your issue is with his opinion on dressing then that’s understandable because fashion trends change all the time but another fact is that people will judge your appearance, doesn’t mean they’ll write you off but it will have an effect on your interactions whether positive or negative. I can respect not wanting to let go of “childish optimism” the world is harsh and pessimism isn’t good for your mental.
