Welding teacher here, if you want split fractions (in half) easily, take the denominator and double it, leave numerator alone. Example: ⅝ ÷ 2 = 5/16. To check your work: 5/16+5/16= 10/16, reduce= 5/8. You may already know this. Hope it helps keep up the good work.

I’m just an X-ray hand so bare with me... the O.D. Of 12” pipe is 12.75” making the circumference 40.04” and divide that by 4 and you get 10.01” sections. Idk if that’s why it won’t fit up but I’m about to work on one and if it fits up a little better I will let you know. Love the video I just graduated welding school and I want to make one of these. Thanks for the video. And yes I left X-ray to weld. Go figure.
@JacobSchofield4 жыл бұрын
Hey man I imagine a guy that leaves x ray to weld knows exactly what those techs are looking for probably makes you a great wrlder
@wigsplat4 жыл бұрын
It completes the whole big picture in so many words. As soon as I started welding I started understanding so much. I been welding 3 years now. I picked it up fast. I wanna pipeline again but on this side.

I just found this video. Is the pipe going to spring when you cut the door opening?I know you cut ,after,the fab/weld is complete, but that's a large surface.

I use a band saw blade to connect my measurements on my branch, it works better than a wrap around an if your measurement marks are off even a 1/16th that band saw blade will show it where as a wrap around want, give that a shot next time u lay out a branch

Hi might be a silly question but what's the difference between the black book and the blue book?
@JacobSchofield5 жыл бұрын
they both just teach different things. some are the same just a different way of laying it out. I'm pretty sure the black book is the only one with the bill plug.
