Your dog follows you because it thinks you’re going to find food. They look at you to see what you’re doing and what mood you’re in. They lay on your things because they know eventually you’re going to touch it so you’ll have to rub them too. So they lay on your remote. Your shoes. Dogs don’t mirror your mood. That’s stupid. They just like when we’re around. They don’t get sad if we’re sad. Every animal gets excited when anyone comes inside. Literally every animal and every person. Dogs recognize words not names. They get excited from tone of voice not choice of word. Try saying these words with a bored attitude. Your dog won’t care. If your dog listens to you more than others congrats, you trained the dog. Not hard to understand. Dogs and cats show their belly all the time. Doesn’t mean they feel protected. It means they know you won’t rip their guts out. Never met a dog who doesn’t like its head touched. That was a stupid claim. Dogs lick you because you have salty skin. Dogs bring you toys when they are excited. Why would the dog not want to sleep on a big comfy bed and not the floor. This was the dumbest video I’ve ever seen.
