When unity is fulfilled you also reach a state of desirelessness as the heart is unhindered by sensuality. It is replaced with gladness and a light in the heart. When one is glad, joy is born. When the mind and heart are joyous the body is calm and one feels at ease. When there is ease, the mind is composed and a silent song sings from the heart. The freedom is from the joy of being unperturbed by sensuality. You pervade the world with friendliness (non ill-will) and are devoted to upholding sacred law. Not a path for the fainthearted. It does require sacrifice and you do lose everything - so certainly full of danger.... and definitely not just a weekend hobby! A seeker would do well in training themselves to see the danger in sensuality and uprooting it. Then the song of the reed will be heard loud and clear 🎶 The length of these videos are perfect for contemplation and they get to the heart of what is necessary. Unfortunately, you get my musings! Thank you to you both! 😃❤

@@Sarah-Arlow Beautifully put! Your comment reminds me of Plotinus and Meister Eckhart, especially, the Dominican's initial sermons.

@@Rumi.Echoes really?! I must take a look! I 'blame' the Farsi for today's creativity! 🥰

@@Rumi.Echoes I'll take your word for it! It seems they are all closet Buddhist's 🤣 and when I say that, I mean the correct Buddhist teachings. Not the corrupted and watered down version we have today (unfortunately it's happened to all great traditions). I'll certainly check the work of Meister Eckhart. Thank you! ❤️
