I was getting spasms in my neck, completely debilitating, a few years ago. Literally the worst pain I've ever experienced. It would last for one to three days. It got to the point where I was taking morphine from a co-worker who was going through chemo. I was in the emergency room at least 6 times over about a 14 month period. Never once did any of those doctors, including my regular doctor, ever mention magnesium. I ran into an acquaintance and the subject came up. He told me that he suffered spasms due to a mag deficiency. That day I began taking supplements. I haven't had an issue since. Now I have a huge problem with physicians and the entire industry.

I realize at 89 that I have been deficient in magnesium all my life causing all the symptons listed. I have been taking magnesium glyconatefor a few months but the wrong magnesium.for a few years No physician ever caught this. Only you tube tutorials like this tell it clearly. Too much stress, not enough salads. This is the best explaination on you tube. I had been taking cheap magnesium for a few years which wasn't enough. Magnesium oxalate. When I have a few dollars will get the better magnesiums. .like theonate or taurate. Also skin cream as magnesium chloate whic is absobed. I always used epson salt foot soaks or baths which are good. Older people do not always have extra cash for the more expensive suppements, and waste their money on the cheapest versions which don't always help. AS A TEEN i nearly droned as t sea when my colf musckes went into spasm while swimming far from shore. Chocacole cravings hands clenching muscle cramps when swimming was usual. Here is a summary of the key points from the video: - Magnesium deficiency can cause various signs and symptoms like muscle twitches, restless sleep, irritability, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, constipation, bone and joint pain, anxiety, muscle cramps etc. - Testing magnesium levels through blood tests is not very reliable as only 1% is stored in blood. Symptoms are a better indicator. - Dietary sources of magnesium include greens, nuts, seeds, yogurt, salmon. Magnesium is found in chlorophyll of plants. - Reasons for deficiency include eating refined grains, sugars, whole grains high in phytates, too much stress, antacid medications, diuretics, lack of vitamin D, magnesium depleted soils. - To boost intake, eat more greens daily, take magnesium glycinate supplement, use electrolyte drinks while fasting, avoid depleting foods like junk/refined carbs. Vitamin D and whole food proteins also help. - Magnesium L-Theronate may be better absorbed in brain for mental benefits. Oxide, sulfate, carbonate, hydroxide types are poorly absorbed forms to avoid.

buy a papaya ... peel it, cut it up into bite size chunks and eat the fruit .. then freeze the seeds .. there'll be 100+ in a single papaya ... once seeds are frozen, take about 15-20 and crush/mash them with the flat side of a cleaver ... put it all in a spoon, pop it in the mouth and quickly wash it down with water... do this once a week and you'll have all the correct magnesium needed for that week ... by correct I mean the magnesium that supports nerve function, mental acuity and muscle cramp blocking.

@@onlythetruth883 The threonate really did help. I've been taking Dr. Mercola's brand. But I did find one that I currently have had for at least a couple of nights --waking up between 2-3am and not being able to go back to sleep. Something about cortisol. So, I've been awake for 2 hours [it's 4am] and I am so glad you asked a question that prompted me to re-watch the video. I've just taken an extra dose of magnesium + potassium. INo matter how much vitamin D I took, I was always deficient. My endocrinologist added magnesium, and within a month, a decade long problem was corrected. Vitamin D cannot work without magnesium. If you take extra vitamin D, it grabs all the magnesium stored in your bones. So you are left with even lower magnesium and still low vitamin D. MANY people who have low vitamin D actually have a magnesium deficiency. ALWAYS start with a Magnesium supplement BEFORE ever taking vitamin D, and never take D without also taking magnesium.

I have taken Magnesium Oxide for a long time for my muscles and for sleep and I thought I was doing a good thing. I always sleep better and no muscle pain but now I wonder if it would be better for me to switch to the Magnesium Glycinate. I do have some glycinate but stopped taking them for some reason but I think I'll try again. I take a blood pressure pill and have stents/pacemaker/defib (heart problems) so maybe this will be better for me.

I got a huge Magnesium deficiency from being on Carnivore. It was the worst body pain in my 64 year life! I followed the rules of the diet, drank a ton of water, took electrolytes. I just did not tolerate carnivore at all. It works for a lot of people, but not everyone! After taking Magnesium supplements, I am almost back to normal, but as you get older, it takes longer to get there. I also have always had palpitations and those are gone. I think I have probably always been Magnesium deficient and should have never done anything other than a balanced diet. I sleep better now, too. I used Magnesium Glycinate. Always get the higher quality ones like at Costco.

Any thoughts on Magnesium Malate and Magnesium Taurate? I find that even Mg Glycinate causes loose stool. Trying the find the form that has the least laxative effect.

Hi, thanks for the vid. Are there any other vitamins/deficiencies which dont register on a blood test? Would be good to have a list 😁. Thanks 🙏.

I do not have a magnesium deficiency but I was told magnesium glycenate would help me sleep better. It did the opposite. I woke up wide awake in the middle of the night

Osteopenia is NOT bone pain, but low density in bones short of osteoporosis which causes the bones to be brittle and break.

Osteopenia isn't bone pain, but low bone density of a lesser degree than osteoporosis. See Merriam-Webster "-penia"- deficiency.

Merriam-Webster redefined the word vaccine because they were told to, among other words. See “you’re a communist and I don’t trust Merriam-Webster, FDA, or CDC. All very compromised for a long time.

Thanks so much for this! 🙏🏾 Started not too long ago with using Mega-Mag drops from Trace Minerals. Do you consider this a good absorbable source for magnesium as well or better to switch to the ones you’ve mentioned? Thanks again! 💜

I’d like to take the threonate, but I’ve taken the glycinate with good results and will be placing another order for the glycinate. Do I also need to order threonate and take in addition, or is it an either/or but not both situation?

There are so many magnesium supplements out there, the job is finding the right one for you. I've given up buying them online because I am sure the more expensive brands are often just the cheaper ones masquerading as better-quality ones. They blend extra virgin oil in most cases, so what's stopping them from doing something similar with supplements?
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies7 ай бұрын
It's difficult to determine the quality of supplements, but I usually choose brands that It rust and have a good long-standing reputation. Making sure that there are minimum bulking agents in the ingredients list, and the right type you are seeking i.e Magnesium Glycinate/Citrate etc.. 💚

Don't know where you're situated but in America there's an excellent mix called Cal- Mag C. It's a balance of Calcium Magnesium and vitamin C in the correct ratios. I'm 70 years now and have been drinking it at least once a day either morning or last thing at night. Sleep like a baby, have all my own teeth, strong bones and thick head of hair. Look it up
